O.K. don't get pissed cause it doesn't stick close to the comics but I have been tossing This Idea Around in my head for the longest time. It would be and Interesting Idea for a plot point in a future Rebooted Batman Film. Right now it is in the form of a short story. This is a very crappy story, but its the concept that i am going for here. Tell me what you think.
"Welcome Ms. Quinzel, they tell me you are the best." I his voice is shattering, how that Batman guy put up with him I will never know. He calls him self the Joker, he finds himself funny. Right now i only find him Annoying.
"Well I am certainly not the Best Mr..." The name Joke just doesn't sound right. He is a real person and should have a real name. But his charts only have him labeled as "The Joker"
"Just call me Mr. J, my dear." I would rather call him maniac, but i sit down and begin my analysis.
"So Mr....J... I you seem very intent on killing this Batman. Why? It says here you are almost obsessed with him"
"Oh You mean Batsy, no I don't want to kill him. That would be crazy. And believe me, I know crazy HAHAHAHAHAHA!" His Laugh is cynical, yet somewhat alluring. And that smile.
"Now, well that's not what i was going to ask but..."
"Ms. Quinzel, has anyone ever told you that you absolutely resemble a barbie doll? Nice waist, firm round breasts and flowing locks of golden hair. I dare say you are a spitting image of Head Shrink Barbie. I think i had that one when i was a little girl. HAHAHAHAHA!" I blushed a bit not really knowing what to say. I had to think of something...
"I don't think that has any bearing on your analysis, Mr..J."
"Oh i think it has everything to do with it. You no doubt are brilliant, but that's not the reason they chose you to sit down with me is it?"
"I don't understand" What was he up too?
"Anyone else coming in here to try and "figure me out has either been an old man with a Freudian complex, or a nasty old lady with a nose larger than the penguins. HA! But now they send in you, a very attractive very sexy woman. Perhaps they don't really intend on you figuring me out. Maybe they think i need some relieving? What do you think?" He rose up out of his chair and walked towards me slowly. I wasn't sure what was going on.
"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to sit down" He wouldn't listen He walked right up to me and kissed me on the lips. He was pulled off of me by the guards who had come in just in time.
I left the room, my mind was hazy and I began to cry, not because I had just been assaulted by a mad man. But because i enjoyed it. I had to find a way to get him out. To cure him. It would be the only way we could possibly be together. I searched through his files to maybe find a family member i could contact. But with a name like the Joker there cannot be much.
I came across an interview where he said...before his accident he had had a daughter... Of course.. A daughter I could contact her and she could tell me how he was before the accident. He said his wife was named Sharon Whitely. Of course it could be one of his many lies. The next day i decided to find out for myself. He could trust me. I knew of that. Everyone thought me crazy to go see him again after what happened, but I told them i wouldn't let it affect me.
"Oh Ms Quinzel, you have returned again I see. You must have really enjoyed your last visit. HAHAHAHA!"
"Quite the opposite Mr. J. I was rummaging through your files and you mentioned in a session with Dr. Mara that you were once married to a woman named Named Sharon Whitely."
"Well yes, I suppose her name rings all sorts of bells and whistles in my brain, but yes we were married." I had him.
That night I looked her name up in the Gotham phone book. She lived relatively close to my apartment. I knocked on the door, not know what to expect. And out came this woman who looked very normal compared to Mr. J.
She looked at me like she had seen a ghost. The she began to tear up.
"Uh ma'am... Are you ok?"
"Yes of course dear of course come in have a seat."
"I was wondering if you might have a daughter, i know this weird, but i work at Arkham Asylum and Your hus..."
"Well of course I have a daughter dear. I am looking right at her"
That's when it hit me all at once. Mr. J was right, they did hire me for a reason, not because he would be attracted to me, but that i was his daughter.
"I'm sorry mo... ma'am I have to go" I ran out of the door remembering the day my parents told me I was adopted not allowing me to see my Original parents, everything. I went back to my apartment and in rage tore everything off my walls threw things across the room after i was done i knew what i had to do. I had to break my father...my love...out of Arkham.
It would be at this point in the story where she finds an old Halloween costume grabs it and breaks her father out of prison. Holding a guard at gunpoint, and what not. Telling him things like "But I love him" and all that. It is very twisted and i know its not the most perfect story out there and could be written a lot better by someone else but it would be an interesting premise none the less. Purists will hate me but whatever, tell me what you think.
