For those who don't know, i am a huge fan of the Batman..he was one of the first superheroes i ever read about and i love the Burton/Nolan Batman Films..but honestly when it comes to the films..robin has been lacking..the Shumacher version of Robin didn't protay him very well..so i really would love to see a great Robin in the Batman Movies...here is how i would protay the character of Robin and i won't highlight the actor i want to see play Robin...i just want to focus on his Gadgets,Backstory and Costume
Which Robin should they use:
Personally i think they should go with Dick Grayson..not only is he the most iconic Robin but he was the first Robin so it would be best to use him first.
Backstory:
I was originally going to merge Jason Todd and Dick Grayson's backstories but at the end..i decided to just use Dick Grayson's storyline but i decided to add in a couple new things into Dick's backstory.
Dick is an 8 year-old circus acrobat, and with his parents make up the "Flying Graysons". While preparing for a performance, Dick overhears two gangsters attempting to extort protection money from the circus owner. The owner refuses, so the gangsters sabotage the trapeze wires with acid. During the next performance, the trapeze from which Dick's parents are swinging snaps, sending them to their deaths.Adopted by his cousin, who is a member of the League of Assassins..training with his uncle and the League of Assassin's main leader Ras Ah Ghul. He trained for the League for 2 years until he met the person who would change his life..Bruce Wayne.Bruce was also training under Rah Ah Ghul and became freinds with Dick.3 Years later Bruce decided to leave the league and bring Dick to Gotham..becoming Batman and Robin.They might for justice in Gotham City.
Costume:
When it comes to the live action films..costumes are very important..you don't want to make it too goofy but you also need it to be faithful to the source material..here are a couple of ideas for Robin/Dick Grayson's costume..
- Robin Costume
Robin's costume is kinda similar to Superman's costume in Man of Steel (It was made by Superman because Batman requested it)...but a couple of things have been updated.First instead of Dark Blue..the costume is Dark Red (And there is no Superman Logo).The Robin Logo is also on the suit and the cape is very similar to Batman's cape but it is Dark Yellow.There is also a Yellow Robin Belt.
Man of Steel Costume:
- Gadgets:
Robin Goggles: Very similar to Catwoman's googles from Dark Knight Rises.Robin can switch the goggles to Detective Mode in order to plan out attacks on Thugs
Robin Belt: Robin belt is very useful.. he has tons of Gadgets in his belt...
Robinrangs-It is a customized throwing weapon used by Robin.
Robin first aid kit - Heals Robin.
Explosive Gel:A foamlike substance which can be detonated for an explosion to demolish weakened surfaces or stun enemies
Robin Grenades:Grenades can contain smoke or any other noxious gas such as anesthesia
Electric Gloves: Not only do they have a Screen on their Ganetluts which can call Batman. But they also can deleiver a shock to the any enemy that gets hit by the Electric Gloves
Weapon:
Soul Taker Sword: Given to Robin by Ras Ah Ghul.The Legendary Soultaker Sword is one of the best swords around. The Sword capable of extracting the souls from those that it kills.
