Wonder Woman was already underground. Shuffling through rock and wires, Diana grows ever weaker. The air supply is low. A blinding flash of light appears in front of her. Ares has appeared.
ARES
"Don't fight it Diana. You can't win."
DIANA
"Where are the others?"
ARES
"Destroying everything you know."
Ares swings at Diana, knocking her down. Diana quickly picks herself, and jabs at Ares' side. Showing no signs of fading, he picks Diana up by her head, and tosses her into a weak wall. It crashes down, covering Diana in dust. But still, she persists. Running at Ares, Diana pulls out a dagger. She sticks it into Ares' hip, then uppercutting him. As soon as she hits the ground, she performs a roundhouse kick, and punches Ares again, this time denting his armor. Ares stumbles back, his soul damaged by his armors' denting. He runs at Diana, punching her. He slams his fist into her stomach. He then grabs her shoulders, and headbuts the Amazonian. Letting go, Diana stumbles back, and falls down, weak. Ares looks down at her, and starts destroying walls all around. He teleports away, leaving the base to crumble onto his opponent.
CUT TO
METROPOLIS-DAY
The Batwing and Superman are flying side by side.
CUT TO:
UNDERGROUND BASE-DAY
Diana wakes to slabs of rock and dust falling.
She picks herself up, her whole body in pain, and runs. Her body starts to burn. The pain starts to overcome her. She clutches her stomach, and stumbles around before falling on the floor. Crying out in pain, Diana gets up, and begins to run again. She reaches a hangar as rocks blocks the door. Diana climbs into a large jet, and gets it ready for takeoff. The jet is pushed up to a 90 degree angle from the ground. Diana makes the finishing touches before flying upwards.
AI
"Ferris Cloaking Device activating."
The jet becomes completely invisible. As Diana flys away from the base, she makes a complete U-turn, going back for Hal and Barry. She flies lower, and opens the landing pad.
CUT TO
Hal gets up to the sound of the jet.
He shakes Barry, waking him from unconsciousness.
BARRY
"Huh? What is it?"
HAL
"Get up. I think we're being rescued."
The jet goes lower, still invisible, except for the landing pad. Hal grabs Barry, and flies upwards. They land on the landing pad. It retracts, and the jet pulls upwards, avoiding the massive explosion coming from what was the base.
CUT TO
Hal walks towards Diana, who is flying steadily.
HAL
"Where did you learn to fly?"
DIANA
"Ever heard of Steve Trevor?"
HAL
"That asshole? Who knew. Now move over."
DIANA
"I can fly."
HAL
"I'm a pilot. Oh and... what was it? Oh yeah! I tested this aircraft."
Diana looks at him, and gets up, letting Hal fly.
HAL
"Ferris Cloaking Device down. Seek... Where are we going?"
DIANA
"Aegean Sea. I'll guide you from there."
HAL
"Hold up, I'm getting a new frequency. Hello?"
BATMAN
"Where are you going?"
HAL
"Aegean Sea. How'd you get this frequency?"
BATMAN
"WayneTech plane."
Hal laughs to himself.
HAL
See you Batty. Seek: Aegean Sea."
The course to the Aegean Sea appears on a GPS.
HAL
"Yo ho, let's go."
The jet swerves right, towards Greece.
CUT TO
THEMYSCARA-NIGHT
Amazons fight against the Injustice League. They have no luck.
CUT TO
The jet and Batwing land.
Diana, Barry, Batman, Hal, and Superman stand together.
BATMAN
"We have to stop them here."
SUPERMAN
"Agreed. Diana, you know the island better than any of us. What's our best bet?"
DIANA
"We don't have one. Ares is all over the place. With those others, there's no guarantee on anything."
FLASH
"Uplifting. I can outrun them all. I could be a distraction and lead them to us all together."
HAL
"If I can trap Clayface in a construct, he won't be a factor anymore, but I can't join the battle."
FLASH
"We could rush in and storm them."
BATMAN
"That's suicide. Plus, is is our last chance. If we don't stop them here, Waller will stop us."
SUPERMAN
"Permanently."
DIANA
"Barry, you'll be bait, but we have to round them up. Then Hal can trap them and we'll contact Waller using the jet."
FLASH
"How do you know that we can contact Waller?"
DIANA
"I did some poking around while Hal was flying."
SUPERMAN
"Let's go."
"Wait!"
The heroes all turn their heads to see Arthur, with a literal army of Atlanteans wearing helmets similar to Orm's, behind him.
ARTHUR
"There's an army of demons out there too."
BATMAN
"That's why you came back?"
ARTHUR
"The army was a last minute decision. I came because, well, like you said. We can't win apart."
Diana smiles. Then they run.
CUT TO
Sinestro blasts at Amazonians, laughing.
HAL
"Hey Pink Face! Over here!"
Sinestro turns around, and sees Hal a good 50 feet away. The human was holding a megaphone construct. It dissipates into the air. Sinestro runs forwards, jumping up, flying, and blasting towards Hal. Suddenly, Superman flies into Sinestro. The Man of Steel guides Sinestro to a large temple dedicated to Aphrodite. Superman sops, and they both float in the air. He reels his hand back, and hits Sinestro as hard as he can. The alien crashes through the temple wall, knocking it all down.
CUT TO
Arthur guides the Atlantians up a staircase.
They arrive at the top of a colosseum.
ARTHUR
"Ready... Hold... NOW!!!"
The Atlanteans raise their hands and speak their native language. The tide begins to change, and the waves become bigger.
CUT TO
Diana grabs a Devil-like demon, and punches it's throat, shoving her hand through it. Diana fights off another demon before Metallo appears behind her. She turns around, and punches the cyborg. He feels nothing, and grabs Diana's throat. Suddenly, a sharp, piercing noise is heard. A batarang in Metallo's back. It starts to beep rapidly, and scrambles Metallo's programming. He shuts off, releasing Diana.
CUT TO
Superman blasts heat vision at Clayface, hardening parts of him.
Other parts are hit with freezing breath, cracking and falling off. But still they go back to normal temperature or grow back. Superman gives up on his more unique powers, and charges Clayface, punching the criminal. Nothing happens but Clark's arms getting either stuck or messy. Hal lands near Superman, and creates a giant box around Clayface, with one side open. Clark sends frost breath into that one hole. The construct dissipates, leaving only an icy prison around Clayface.
CUT TO
Flash throws a punch at Mirror Master, who ducks into a portal, appearing behind Flash.
He then grabs Falsh, and throws him to the ground. Mirror Master gets down on the ground and punches Flash, again and again. Batman then tackles Mirror Master, and punches him. Batman pulls out a smoke pellet, and sends the Smoke into Mirror Master's mouth, knocking him out.
CUT TO
The Atlanteans continue their chant.
The waves are now dangerous, the tide has consumed most of the beaches. Thunderstroms and dark clouds are overhead. there is no sign that the sun, or light itself, exists, except for the thunder. Then, one huge tsunami forms, rushing towards the island. It hits, drowning everything in water. When the skies clear, the demons are all dead. But the buildings, Atlanteans, and heroes are unharmed.
CUT TO
The heroes gather together, ready for the final battle against Ares.
The god comes out of the shadows. He had been watching the battle the entire time.
ARES
"Call off your people Orin."
Arthur looks at Ares, then his army.
ARTHUR
"Go."
The Atlanteans walk away, murmuring to each other.
ARES
"You can still give up. It is an option."
SUPERMAN
"It's one that we aren't going to take."
ARES
"...Good."
Superman is the first to run forwards. He strikes Ares' side. Flash then comes forwards, hitting Ares everywhere in a few seconds. Ares laughs as he swats Flash away, sending him into a stone building's wall. Batman throws a batarang at Ares' feet. It explodes as Batman jumps through the fire, kicking Ares in the face. Hal creates giant blocks, throwing them at Ares. The God kicks Batman in the stomach, punches Superman, and slams his fist into Arthur as he comes forwards. Arthur stumbles back, but runs forwards again. Ares takes another swing, but Arthur shoves his trident into Ares' arm. The god reels back, ripping the trident out of his skin. As he screams, Flash comes back. He goes straight for the stomach, rapidly hitting him, making small dents every few punches. Ares keeps screaming, now because of his armor. Diana runs forwards, and grabs Ares' arm, flipping him over her. Now on his back, Ares is attacked by Green Lantern. He creates a gauntlet around his hand, and slams his fist into Ares' helmet. Huge dents are being made. Ares screams in pain, and flails his arms, knocking Hal over. The god gets up, sniveling. Batman comes from behind, and wraps his arms around Ares' neck. He steers Ares into a building, and drops off. Wonder Woman runs forwards, and grabs Ares' breastplate, she rips the covering for the chest off, causing Ares to shriek in pain. Stumbling around blindly, tears start to fall from the inside of Ares' helmet.
ARES
"End it! End it!
Superman runs forwards, jumps up, and slams his fist into the gap in Ares' helmet. His entire arm reaches into the darkness, as light bursts forwards. A blinding explosion of pure white light appears, and knocks Superman back. All that is left is ash and Ares' helmet.
SUPERMAN
"Did... did I kill him?"
DIANA
"No. He has just been sent... somewhere. Ares will return, but not for a long time."
BATMAN
"Good."
The heroes all look at the black spot on the ground as the camera backs out.
CUT TO
THE WATCHTOWER
The heroes have gathered to celebrate.
HAL
"So Waller's gone? We can stay together you guys! Ha ha yes!"
ARTHUR
"What should we call ourselves?"
FLASH
"I've been thinking about it, and I think we should be called the Superfriends."
DIANA
"You aren't serious."
BATMAN
"He never is."
SUPERMAN
"You know what I think would fit? The Justice League."
FARADAY
"You can't."
BATMAN
"What?"
FARADAY
"It was Miss Waller's order while director. I'm sorry, but it was agreed to. I'm afraid I cannot reverse it."
FLASH
"So much for the Superfriends."
FARADAY
"But they also agreed that you would come back. This was the first step to destruction of national, hell, of worldwide security."
CUT TO
Batman sits alone in the Batcave.
FARADAY
"So you will go your separate ways."
CUT TO
Wonder Woman looks over a devastated Themyscara.
FARADAY
"You will forget this ever happened.
CUT TO
Barry hangs his suit in Carol's apartment.
FARADAY
"And you'll take a break."
CUT TO
Hal flies over Oa.
FARADAY
"But when anyone threatens your city, any person, or the world."
CUT TO
Arthur dives underwater.
FARADAY
"Especially one of you."
CUT TO
Clark Kent puts his glasses on before walking into the Daily Planet.
FARADAY
"You'll bring them to justice."
