Ok let me explain myself, Kick-Ass was an AWESOME Film and I would not change a thing........BUT it wasn’t really that faithful to the comics. I know that they would NEVER remake or reboot Kick-Ass,and I know its a little too early for this but I rather throw this out here before I Forget.

Why attempt a re-cast if "you wouldn't change a thing"?

Fancasts are cool, but you need some more info on the actors and why you'd chose them over the people already in the roles.

i think breslin and baruchel are a bit old for the parts...

Abigail Breslin would be a great Hit-Girl...just a bit too old...and I would go for a more heavy set Big Daddy...somebody in shape, but bulky...can't think of anyone specific though...

ElBicho@Cause Dude Its really not faithful to the comics and i wouldnt change a thing cause,I take as theyre Kick-Ass and the comic in the movie thats based on kick-ass is the real deal.....I'll add info later

Heh, good stuff InSpace! I thought of doing one of these but I just couldnt find anyone better than who was already cast..! Jay Baruchel is an awesome choice for Red Mist though! :)

@PrettyMuchEveryoneElse, I get what he's saying about it not being as faithful to the comic as possible. I've got my character differences article up, and I'll hopefully get my plot differences article up soon.

Anyway, what he's saying is that he likes the movie the way it is, but if he were to cast it in a way that's closer to how he envisions the comic version of the characters, this is how he would do it.

@InSpace: It's a good recast. I have to disagree with Hit-Girl and Big Daddy. Nic and Chloe were just too perfect. But it is a really good thought to think "What If?"

I thought Breslin was something like 14 or 15?...Chloe is 13 playing 11...so, THAT was pushing it...but she pulled it off...

this if im honest is a horrible fan cast- glee guy for kick ass HELL fukin no!!! the only 2 i could agree maybe with is hit girl and redmist maybe katie aswell but thats pushing it
