Better late than never. Let's get this show on the road!
Steve Rogers/Captain America: Jensen Ackles has always been my top choice. Sure, he’d do a good job as Hawkeye too, but it would feel like a repeat of Dean Winchester. I'd like to see him expand himself in a more mature sort of role, and Cap would be just that.
Tony Stark/Iron Man: Robert Downey Jr. Obviously.
Bruce Banner/The Hulk: Edward Norton. After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Thor: Chris Hemsworth, of course.
Clint Barton/Hawkeye: Ryan Kwanten. After seeing him play the cocky, yet good-natured Jason Stackhouse on True Blood, I can totally see Kwanten as Hawkeye. He definitely deserves big screen fame.
Hank Pym: Nathan Fillion. He's got both a good fanboy following from Firefly and Serenity, but he's not quite a total household name. Not to mention Fillion's got a pretty good off-the-wall sense of humor that balances well with his penchant for some good drama that goes with Hank Pym's character like gravy is to mashed potatoes.
Janet Van Dyne/Wasp: Grace Park. Admittedly, this is more along the lines of Jan's appearance as an Asian-American in The Ultimates. But Park has both the physicality (petite, but still tough) and the acting skills (as demonstrated on Battlestar Galactica and The Cleaner). Plus an Asian Wasp can add a little diversity, right?
Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch: Eva Green. Read one of my older posts concerning the casting for Wanda. And she and my pick for Quicksilver actually do look like they're related.
Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver: Wentworth Miller. I know, there is quite an age difference between him and Green, but he looks way younger than his age. Plus he actually is a great actor, and he certainly knows how to portray the kinds of emotions in Pietro's character from what I‘ve seen of him in his work. It doesn't hurt to dream, right?
(I will admit that Miller is not my only choice, but he is among my top picks.)
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: Scarlett Johansson
Nick Fury: Samuel L. Jackson
T’Challa/Black Panther: Djimon Hounsou. He's voicing the character in an animated adaptation, so there is a bit of hope that he could play the character in a live action version too.
Victor Shade/Vision: Billy Zane. He's a fan favorite, and I certainly see it too.
Carol Danvers/Mrs. Marvel: Ali Larter. Also a fan favorite, and really, she's perfect. Enough said.
Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk: Sarah Wayne Callies. She has done a great job in Prison Break, and she needs a big role again. She is pretty much a dead ringer for Jennifer Walters. As for her alter-ego, it's fairly likely they'll use CGI to portray She-Hulk, while using Callies' facial features and whatnot.
Simon Williams/Wonder Man: Tahmoh Penikett. I know, yet another Battlestar Galactica alum, but Penikett has the square-jawed look and the muscular frame needed for Wonder Man, not to mention he's a great actor too.
Dr. Stephen Strange: Ethan Hawke. He's a very good, but underrated actor who has the looks and would be awesome in a superhero movie.
Bob Reynolds/Sentry: Alexander Skarsgard. Since Skarsgard didn't get Thor, he'd be perfect for another blonde superhero with long hair.
Sam Wilson/Falcon: Mekhi Phifer. He's pretty much perfect. What more is there to say?
Jim Rhodes/War Machine: Don Cheadle
I know I'm missing quite a few. But I’ve worked hard at this, and I hope you find it satisfactory.
