"Superman: The Golden Child" is another fan film about the Man of Steel which is currently in pre-production for a release in the U.S. summer of 2012.
The Golden Child is an ambitious SUPERMAN fan film, written and will be directed by Andrew List. The film is designed to be an origin story of the Man of Steel, it will feature many familiar elements that stay true to the legend, however it will also have much creative liberty's and realistic interpretations. The film also answers many questions Superman fans traditionally ask and wonder about. It's a story of a young man trying to find his place in the world, overcoming obstacles such as Harvard graduate and corporate billionaire Lex Luthor. His goal is to triumph above the odds and fulfill his destiny.
