Before the cast I have an idea of how the movie should be made. I've always seen Prototype being made like Beowulf, but with better CG of course. I only think this because it would be one of the only ways to make the free running, and monsters look good unless it had a crazy budget like Avatar. Anyways just a thought tell me what you think of the idea in the comments.
Sam Worthington as Alex Mercer
Alex is the antihero of Prototype who struggles between the good and the monster that is growing inside of him. Worthington has the look and the attitude to perform well as Mercer.
Zoey Deschanel as Dana Mercer
Dana is Alex mercers sister in the game who helps him find members of Blackwatch. Zoey is a good actress for this role because for one she wouldn't have a lot of screen time and she's got the look.
Laurence Fishburne as Bradley Ragland
Bradley is a scientist trying to help Alex figure out a cure for the outbreak. Fishburne is an amazing actor and is a good fit for the role.
William Fichtner as Raymond McMullen
McMullen is a scientist under the employment of Blackwatch, and is partialy responsible for Alex's condition. Fichtner was really my only choice for this role.
Jason Statham as Ian Taggart
Taggart is one of the antagonists in the game. Statham is the only guy I could think of, and he looks like him.
Charlize Theron as Karen Parker
Karen is Alex's former girlfriend. Theron would mostly be used for flashbacks, but she would be good though.
Amy Adams as Elizabeth Greene
Elizabeth Greene is also an antagonist who fights with Mercer throughout the game, I recently saw Adams in The fighter, and she was amazing. She has the look of Greene as well.
Liev Schreiber as Robert Cross/ Supreme Hunter
Cross is the main antagonist of the game who presents the biggest challenge to Alex. Liev is always a great villain and I would love to see him take this role on.
