With Ben Kingsley confirmed to portray the Mandarin in Iron Man 3, the only question remaining is, how many rings will he be wearing on his fingers on set?

As you all know, the principal personal weapons of the Mandarin are the ten rings which he wears on the fingers of each hand. The rings' operations cannot be explained by contemporary Earth science, but it is known that they served as near-limitless power sources for the warp-drive engines of the Makluan starship of Axonn-Karr. The Mandarin learned how to convert the rings to his personal uses and to make them respond to his mental commands. The fingers on which he wears each ring, and the known functions for which he uses each ring, are given below.

Left Hand
* Ice Blast
* Mento-Intensifier
* Electro-Blast
* Flame Blast
* White Light

Right Hand
* Black Light
* Disintegration Beam
* Vortex Beam
* Impact Beam
* Matter Rearranger

So once Kingsley begins doing his part in Iron Man 3 as the Mandarin, there are possible chances that the character won't exactly wear all 10 of the rings but less on each hand. Marvel or whoever is incharge might place the limit of rings down to about 6 to 4 rings total for the 68 year old actor to put on. To find out, stay tuned and feel free to comment on which rings that Marvel is gonna allow the the character to use in Iron Man 3.
