Special Thanks goes to Mr.BlueSky on Consulting me on Various Villain Choices.
Director: Directors are responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the overall control of the film producer. They often develop the vision for a film and carry out the vision, deciding how the film should look, in other words they make their vision come to life. They are responsible for turning the script into a sequence of shots. They also direct what tone it should have and what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience. Film directors are responsible for deciding camera angles, lens effects and lighting with the help of the cinematographer and set design with the production designer. They will often take part in hiring the cast and key crew members. They coordinate the actors' moves, or blocking and also may be involved in the writing, financing and editing of a film.
Irvin Kershner (Notable Works: Eyes of Laura Mars, The Empire Strikes Back, Never Say Never Again): He's a master with Ensemble casts, and honestly he's a visionary perfect for this take on The Justice League.
Screenwriter: Screenwriters are responsible for researching the story, developing the narrative, writing the screenplay, and delivering it, in the required format, to Development Executives. Screenwriters therefore have great influence over the creative direction and emotional impact of the screenplay and, arguably, of the finished film. They either pitch original ideas to Producers in the hope that they will be optioned or sold, or screenwriters are commissioned by a producer to create a screenplay from a concept, true story, existing screen work or literary work, such as a novel, poem, play, comic book or short story.
Lorenzo Semple Jr. (Notable Works: Flash Gordon, Never Say Never Again, Papillion): He's wrote one of the most Iconic Childhood films for all Kids of the 1980s. A class writer who's done great screenplays who could really play well with the Ensemble casts not to mention having already worked with my directing choice of Irvin Kershner.

Score: A film score (also sometimes called background music or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question. Scores are written by one or more composers, under the guidance of the film's director and/or producer, and are then usually performed by an ensemble of musicians – most often comprising an orchestra or band, instrumental soloists, and choir or vocalists – and recorded by a sound engineer.
Michael Kamen (Notable Works: Venom, The Dead Zone, Boardwalk): He is wihtout a doubt my favorite composer of the 80's. A legend in the film business who created some of the most dominating and memorable film scores. And Putting him in charge of scoring Justice League is just giving him a creative challenge.

Superman/Clark Kent (Age: 30’s, Height: 6’3”) – Superman, also known as the Man of Steel, is one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC Universe. His abilities include incredible super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, freezing breath, flight, and heat-vision. Born as Kal-El on the dying planet Krypton, his parents Jor-El and Lara sent him in a rocket to the planet Earth where he would be the last surviving member of his race. His rocket was discovered by the kindly Jonathan and Martha Kent, who raised him as their son Clark Kent in the town of Smallville, Kansas. His upbringing provided him with strong moral values, and life-long friends Lana Lang and Pete Ross. In his secret identity he works as a reporter at the Daily Planet in the city of Metropolis. This is where he interacts with his love interest Lois Lane, and his co-workers Perry White and Jimmy Olsen. His greatest nemesis is the brilliant super-villain Lex Luthor. To preserve the memory of his home planet and provide him rest from his double-life and adventures, he maintains a Fortress of Solitude at the North Pole. Superman remains proud of his dual heritage, taking seriously the lessons of his birth-parents and his adopted parents. Although he is an alien to this world, he heavily values his humanity, and fights with conviction for truth, justice, and the American way.
Dennis Quaid (Age:35{As of 1989}, Height: 6’, Notable Works: Tough Enough, Dreamscape, Enemy Mine): An actor who’s no stranger to the science fiction realm having done Dreamscape, Enemy Mine, and Innerspace. Also a notorious theme in his character, especially from the 80’s on, is how decent human being his characters are. He is an actor who can convey a strong, dependable voice. No doubt he has the characteristic as an actor to have succeeded Reeves in the role. Something I feel important to note is how great an actor he is, but also how striking a resemblance he has with the John Byrne Illustrations of Clark Kent, when he’s wearing glasses, and how strikingly similar he is to John Byrne’s Superman When he’s not. In all honesty he’s an actor’s actor. He has always turned out great performances, he’s somebody who can play the most trustworthy person in any movie, he can play a tough commanding leader, he can play strong willed and he has a classic handsome look to him that draws in female audiences. Give him a decent suit to wear and Dennis Quaid would look Exactly like Superman. The only little qualm is that he might have to dye his hair, but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that when if they had rebooted Superman in the 1980’s the best person to replace Christopher Reeves would have been Dennis Quaid.

Batman/Bruce Wayne [Height: 6'2", Age: 30's]: Batman is the secret identity of Bruce Wayne. Witnessing the murder of his parents as a child leads him to train himself to physical and intellectual perfection and don a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime. Batman operates in Gotham City, assisted by various supporting characters including his sidekick Robin and his butler Alfred Pennyworth, and fights an assortment of villains influenced by the characters' roots in film and pulp magazines. Unlike most superheroes, he does not possess any superpowers; he makes use of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess, and intimidation in his war on crime.
Kurt Russell [Height: 5'11", Age: 38 {As of 1989}, Notable Works: Elvis, Used Cars, Escape From New York]: With the release of Escape From New York establishing that Kurt is probably one of the best actors of all time, It would only make sense for a studio to give him whatever was necessary to sign him on as Batman. Kurt, being early thirties in this time was the perfect actor at the time, He can manipulate his voice, put serious work into developing the character, and is perfect for nabbing a female audience. He's show to be one of the pioneering actors of the 80's and had always been leading man material. Not only could he have given us the perfect performance as Batman, but it would have been in the best possible Bat-Films. No doubt Kurt was my only choice for an 80's Batman {that disregards everything about Tim Burton's Batman} Simply because for the time, he was the best fit.

Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Height: 6', Age: 20's-30's): Wonder Woman is an Amazon warrior princess and one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe. The daughter of Hippolyta, she was given power by the Gods to fight against evil in all of its forms. Although she was raised entirely by women on the island of Themyscira, she is an ambassador to the world of man, spreading their idealistic message of strength and love.
Chelsea Field (Height: 5'9", Age: 32 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Masters of the Universe, Commando, Prison): An amazing actress by ant Standards, her memorable performance as Teela is the reason why I envision her as Wonder Woman, she displayed a great skill at displaying strength, humanity, and emotion. She would have been perfect.
Barry Allen/The Flash (Height: 6', Age: 30's): The Flash is the fastest man alive. The protector of Central City and Keystone City, fighting against evil using his super-speed and a dedicated sense of heroism. His legacy, the Flash Family, spans throughout history tapping into the enigmatic Speed Force to gain their powers.
Bill Paxton (Height: 5'11", Age: 34{As of 1989} Notable Works: Impulse, Aliens, Near Dark): This choice first came up while watching Predator 2 for the first time when i was 8. After that I long decided he would have been an amazing Flash. Going back to look at his earlier work i think Aliens is a a good case of why Paxton Works as Allen and that he could commit and reinvent the role to be more modern then his silver age incarnation.
Hal Jordan (Height: 6', Age: 30's): Hal Jordan is the most well-known Green Lantern. He was the first earthman ever inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, and has been heralded as possibly the greatest Green Lantern of all time.
Michael Biehn (Height: 6', Age: 33 {As of 1989} Notable Works: The Fan, The Terminator, Aliens): I'd be lying if i said that The Terminator didn't convince me. His performance in Terminator is a mature Hal Jordan, taking liberties with his orders but doing whatever it takes to get the Job done. Biehn is an actor with a Cult Following. Honestly I see him as the most Talented man for the job.
Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Height: '6"1, Age: 30's): Aquaman, also known as Arthur Curry and Orin, is a superhero and the ruler of the seas. As the king of Atlantis and other undersea territories, he technically controls most of the planet. His abilities include super-strength, durability, super-speed, staying underwater indefinitely, and telepathy, which he uses to communicate with sea-life. His aquatic nature means he requires water regularly at the risk of dehydration, although he is perfectly capable of staying on land for extended periods.
Christopher Lambert (Height: 6'2", Age: 32 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Greystoke; The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes, Highlander, To Kill A Priest): The entire reasoning for this is his performance in Greystoke. The way he was able to make Tarzan feel like an organic character to the Nature and Forest. He felt entirely true to his setting and a perfect choice for the role Aquaman.
J'onn J'onnz/Martian Manhunter (Height: 6'7", Age: Unknown): Martian Manhunter, also known as J'onn J'onzz and John Jones, is a superhero from the planet Mars and the last surviving member of his race. A martian holocaust killed his wife and daughter, nearly driving him mad, until he was brought to Earth in an accident caused by scientist Saul Erdel. His natural abilities include super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, flight, shape-shifting, intangibility and telepathy.
William Petersen (Height: 5'10", Age: 36 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Manhunter, To Live and Die in L.A., Passed Away): I swear the fact that he did a movie called Manhunter didn't even factor into me casting him. Honestly I see him as a Noir-ish styled Jon Jones from the 50's comics {When Manhunter used a White Alias} He's a perfect cop actor who really could have been Iconic as Martian Manhunter,
Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Height: 6'2", Age: 30's): Green Arrow is a vigilante superhero who fights crime using archery, technology and martial arts. In his secret identity he is liberal politician and billionaire Oliver Queen, a hot-headed social activist and owner of Queen Industries. Black Canary is his long-time love interest and Speedy is his side-kick. The extended family of heroes who work with him call themselves Team Arrow.
Cary Elwes (Height: 6', Age: 27 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Princess Bride, Lady Jane, Glory): From the Late 80's through the Early 00's I'd say that Elwes is my only choice for the role. He made a deep impression on me when i saw him in Princess Bride and has always been for me associated as the perfect Green Arrow.
Dinah Lance/Black Canary (Height: 5'7", Age: 30's): Black Canary is a superhero vigilante who fights crime using martial arts and a sonic scream attack. She is one of the greatest fighters in the DC Universe, and also a strong tactical mind. Her costume is an attractive black outfit with fishnet stockings and blonde hair, and she is usually seen riding her motorcycle.
Tonya Roberts (Height: 5' 8", aGE: 34 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Charlie's Angels, A View To A Kill, Beastmaster): Her Performance in Charlie's Angels and A View To A Kill just show that she is a perfect choice for the Role of Black Canary, this blond beauty is a dynamite actress perfect for the role, she can handle the action, the emotion, and the looks for the role.
Lois Lane (Age: 30’s, Height: 5’7”) – Lois Lane is an investigative reporter at the Daily Planet in Metropolis, and Superman's main love interest. Her closest co-workers are Clark Kent, Jimmy Olsen and Perry White. She is a strong and assertive woman more than capable of handling herself in dangerous situations. Her family includes her father, the military leader General Sam Lane, and her sister Lucy Lane. Lois was in love with both Superman and Clark Kent for a very long time, unaware that they were in reality the same person.
Karen Allen (Age: 38 {As of 1989} Height: 5’7”, Notable Works: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Starman): {Just a side note, does anyone else think she looks a bit like Margot Kidder?} When you cast or recast Lois Lane, the thing you need most is an actress who can convey the sense of an independent woman who gets herself in danger. Well since she’s done a lot of that in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and that she is a beautiful actress really helps her tangibility in the role for Lois Lane. No doubt she could steal hearts and capture attention as Lois.

Alfred Pennyworth [Height: 5'10", Age: 40's-60's]: Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's valet at Wayne Manor. He knows that Bruce is secretly Batman and aids him. Alfred Pennyworth, after a varied career, was employed as the Wayne family valet when Bruce Wayne's parents were killed. Alfred raised the young orphan and reluctantly aided him in his quest to become Batman. His many skills--ranging from cooking to medicine--make him Batman's staunchest ally, along with a formal demeanor that grounds the Dark Knight and deflects those who might otherwise suspect Batman's true identity.
Alec Guinness [Height: 5'10", Age: 69 {As of 1983}, Notable Works: Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge Over the River Kwai, Lovesick]: When you cast Alfred, you are really casting someone who is mentoring a younger generation of actors. While he might not enjoy the material he's a classic actor that signs the dotted line, plays the role, and does it again. Many know that while he was grateful for Star Wars he disliked the conditions of the shoot, Giving him a more mentoring role like Alfred could peek his interest, especially if he's more like a father and less like a butler, there is no denying that Alec is certainly more than talented enough for the role.

Queen Hippolyta (Height: 5'9", Age: 40's-50's): Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazons of Paradise Island, a society of immortal women who had lived for centuries in isolation from the outside world. Hippolyta magically created two daughters for herself from the clay of Paradise Island: Diana, who eventually went out into 'man's world' in order to become the heroine Wonder Woman, and Nubia, her dark skinned sister, who was taken from her by the war god Mars.
Carrie Fisher (Height: 5'1", Age: 33 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Star Wars {Franchise}, Garbo Talks, The Time Guardian): This was an easy choice, I knew I didn't want her as Wonder Woman because I just don't see it. Casting the Original Warrior Princess {Leia} as Queen of the Amazons seemed logical, especially since they don't age, and Hippolyta is supposed to be a younger looking woman, with a more mature attitude, something that fits Fishcer Well.
Steve Trevor (Height: 6'1", Age: 30's): Steve Trevor is a USAF pilot, and romantic interest to Wonder Woman. During a routine mission, he crash-landed and accidentally discovered the island of Themyscira, home of the Amazons. This inspired them to reopen their connection to "man's world," and Trevor would eventually develop a greater relationship with Wonder Woman, also working alongside her best friend Etta Candy.
Bill Pullman (Height: 6'1-1/2", Age: 36 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Ruthless People, Spaceballs, Cold Feat): Pullman was on my short list for Hal Jordan before deciding on Beihn. With Pullman i decided to use him as Steve Trevor. He's a great actor who is a perfect match for Trevor. He's got a reputation for playing the good-stand-up-guy roles which is very much like the Steve Trevor of the Silver Age
Iris West (Height: 5'6", Age: 20's-30's): Iris is a reporter for the Picture News, based in Central City, and the girlfriend of Barry Allen, who is secretly the Flash. Unaware of his secret, Iris often chides Barry for his frequently being late. Eventually, she learns that Barry is the city's heroic speedster.
Judith Hoag (Height: 5'7", Age: 21 {As of 1989} Notable Works: American Playhouse, Wolf{T.V. Movie}, Spencer: For Hire): A lovely actress who, dispite being younger than the character, is exactly how i always envisioned Iris, with Justice League Ending a Batman/Superman Era 80's we would get her for the 90's as Iris where she would dominate the performance, but starting her off as Barry's Girlfriend in a JLA movie would be a good place to start her off.
Carol Ferris (Height: 5' 7", Age: 30's): Carol Ferris is the romantic interest of Hal Jordan. Businesswoman and pilot, she is the owner of Ferris Aircraft, taking after her father Carl Ferris.
Melody Anderson (Height: 5' 7", Age: 32 {As of 1987} Notable Works: Flash Gordon, Dead & Buried, High School U.S.A.): Honestly she did such a fantastic job in Flash that I hear her voice when i read Carol in the Silver Age books. Melody truly is a perfect fit for the role of Lady Ferris.
Despero (Height: 8'1", Age: Unknown): Despero is an intergalactic conqueror and enemy to the Justice League of America. He has been a member of the Injustice League, Secret Society of Super-Villains and the Time Stealers. The ruthless tyrant ruler of planet Kalanor, he possesses incredible mental powers in addition to his great strength and intellect
Tony Todd (Height: 6'5", Age: 35 {As of 1989} Notable Works: Sleepwalk, Platoon, Enemy Territory): Tony Todd a legend in acting, My choice for 80's Despero lies in the fact that he has a towering height over any of the actors playing members of the Justice League, and display Despero's heavy intelligence. I wanted to give Despero an intelligence with Strength making him an equal danger to all members of the League and Todd would be perfect for displaying that.
