Ladies and Gents, in spirit of the good news this week regarding The Dark Knight Rises, I have made my first few independently created posters, fan-made, for better lack of term. Anyways, I wanted to express something still, yet chaotic, while using a simplistic approach. That is why the broken mirror is the best style. The use of thicker break sections between the pieces then the usual glass breaks. In a way, it lets you see far more of the picture fragments, and sets up more interesting section breaks, where some pieces might mix into another part of the picture and story being told, just like the films themselves.

This is my first one, and it features both Tom Hardy's face, as well as the Bane mask, which I made some slight and barely noticeable changes to, but now that I mentioned them you will likely be able to see better that they are there.

This one was meant to be more bold, yet, somewhat with more a different impact. I used Tom Hardy's face twice, once on the right, and the crazier looking version lurking above him, as a symbol of psychotic villainy.

This was the basic used for my foundations, It also works as a simplistic poster as well. I originally found the shattered mirror image and did some tweaking of my own to make it something original, some cropping, smudging, etc. All in all, I tried to make this as simplistic as possible, not the most original thing I put together, but it looks pretty darn good if I might say.

So, with that said, I hope you all really enjoyed these, everyone I've asked so far loves the first one with the mask the best, and I think that might be my favorite as well, but all is up to you. I truly hope you like what you see here, as this was all made in good fun, I do not claim to own anything, I just put these together as a fellow fan and artist. Thank you all for viewing this!

Really?! wow, glad you guys like em. I'm intrigued the last two caught on better then the first. I thought the simplicity of the third would take away from it, but I guess less is more I'm starting to realize when it comes to music and movie art lately. It's very interesting. As for the second, the colors sort of really contrast with the sections, but.. it really adds to the mirror effect, so I'm satisfied with the outcome.. and regarding the first, it's a picture I used from when Tom Hardy was in Star Trek: Nemesis, I think he was the villain in that. I wouldn't know, though, I am not a fan of Star Trek, even for what looks like a brilliantly played role by Mr. Hardy. Although, when I recently found out he was in it, I did slightly become curious about the role. However, time will tell if my intrigue in the film will be enough to really put my straight up dislike for that franchise aside enough to actually see it. All I can say in the meanwhile is that I really look forward to seeing another simply remarkable film by him, Minotaur. At least 'til Rises hits the theaters, as well as, GB3.

The only thing I'd recommend is goin' back and softening the edges of the cracked glass on the first two pictures. It might make it look more natural, but still really sweet! :)

Thanks, and yeah, I was up VERY late doing those, I had a feeling I let some of those things slip on by, also, unfortunately, I already deleted the photos I used. Any editing in the future on those will be smoothing. Working on a 32 GB hard drive that started out as 250 GB, I love this computer, but it needs a lot of repairs! lol Not a lot of functional space to work with but ironically this computer is faster right now then the newer ones in the house here.. It's worth it though, it's an ASUS laptop I've had for a while now, but if i ever get it redone, I'm definitely getting it restored with vista to factory settings, so I can get my video editing programs back up and running again..

I know! I'm gonna be ecstatic with Ghostbusters III and The Dark Knight Rises alone, also MIB III too, lots of threequels, the rest are an added bonus, which is even more awesome! I can't believe I almost forgot about Man Of Steel though.. hmm, another to add to the intrigue of my interests..
