“Let the games begin!”
Welcome, to the seventh installment of the Tournament! In this, the seventh part of Round 1, we have some results! Who will have won? Well, here are the rules first.
The Tournament RULES!!!
Rule #1: THIS IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST!!! I don't want Batman to beat everyone! Please, be fair, think about the fight, analyze the fighters powers and abilities, and be fair!
Rule #2: It will start with 6 two-on-two fights. Then, the winners of the two-on-two fights will come together, and have two battle royales, with three fighters. The last man standing in those two will fight each other in a fight that will determine who moves on to the final fight, a battle royale between the top Marvel hero, Marvel villain, DC hero, and DC villain. The winner will be the champion!
Rule #3: There will be four separate competitions, one for Marvel heroes, one for Marvel villains, one for DC heroes, and one for DC villains.
Rule #4: This has the mainstream comic characters fighting. The fighters can only use what their mainstream comic counterparts have. Also, the fighters do not have had to appear in live action.
Rule #5: The participants have NO prep time, and do not know the others abilities, or weaknesses!!!
Here are the results from yesterday’s installment!
Fight #4: Superman

Fight #5: Hawkman
Fight #6: Starfire
Now, let's see todays fights! This time we move onto DC villains!
Fight #1: Darkseid vs. Ares
Powers and Abilities:
Darkseid is among the most powerful New Gods. His main power, the Omega Beam, is a form of energy that he fires from his eyes as either a concussive force or disintegrating energy, capable of transmuting or erasing living objects and organisms from existence as well as resurrecting them, depending on the dark lord's will. These beams stem from a cosmic energy source called the "Omega Effect." Darkseid has pinpoint control and his unerring aim allows the beam to travel in straight lines, bend, or curve around corners and can pass through matter and energy. He can teleport himself or others through time and space. Darkseid can also shoot energy blasts from his hands. His Omega Sanction traps the organism in a series of alternate realities, each one worse than the previous. During the Final Crisis, Darkseid used his Omega Beams to grant power to Mary Marvel, with her powers then being based on Anti-Life rather than magic. Darkseid has also shown the powers of flight, shape-shifting, and possession of other living beings.
Darkseid is a being whose unparalleled strength and invulnerability can only be challenged by the likes of Superman, Doomsday and Orion He can also move with great speed, as he has been able to catch Superman off guard, he is known to be able to react in nanoseconds. He also can increase his size. Darkseid has the powers of telepathy and telekinesis and can create psionic avatars. Since Darkseid is considered a "god" he is virtually immortal, having lived for several hundred thousand years.
Powers and Abilities:
As do all the immortal Olympian Gods Ares possesses tremendous strength, though he is now perhaps the strongest of them, rivaled only by Heracles. Moreover, he is a master of conflict and strategy with centuries of experience in the field, and has complete telekinetic command and mastery over any weapon. He also possesses superhuman speed and superhuman agility equal to that of Hermes once he absorbs massive amounts of the psychic energies that give him his powers. Pertaining to his being a war god, violence, anger, hate, death, and bloodshed make him stronger and heals any wounds he may receive as his soul is able to absorb the psychic energy created by such events. His armor is virtually indestructible and his weapons are greater than mortal ones. He can shapeshift his being into any form he wishes and can teleport himself and others. He is now also recognized as the Death God of the Greek Pantheon and thus has control over the dead and is able to resurrect and a whole army of undead from The Underworld to do his will and them send them back whenever he wishes.
Being a god, he is also mmortal and cannot be harmed by mortal weapons, only magical ones.
So, who would win? Darkseid, or Ares? Vote in the comments section!
Fight #2: Bane vs. Killer Croc
Powers and Abilities:
Bane is highly intelligent; in Bane of the Demon, Ra’s al Ghul says that Bane "has a mind equal to the greatest he has known (Although Talia dismisses Bane's intellect as the cunning of an animal rather than the cultured, trained intellect of Batman)." In prison, he taught himself various scientific disciplines equal to the level of understanding of leading experts in those fields. He knows six active languages and at least two additional arcane and dead ones. Among these are Spanish, English, Urdu, Persian and Latin. The Bane of the Demon storyline reveals that he has an eidetic memory. Within one year, he is able to deduce Batman's secret identity.
He is also highly devious and a superb strategist and tactician. In prison, Bane also invented his own form of calisthenics, meditation, and a fighting style that he uses against other well-known martial arts fighters within the DC Universe. Usage of Venom enhances his physical abilities, including his strength, and healing process to superhuman levels.
Powers and Abilities:
His skin is hardened to the degree that it is nearly impenetrable to ordinary forms of abrasion including high caliber weapons fired from a distance. He possesses a degree of super strength; for example, he was able to tear a bank vault door off of its hinges with minimal effort. He has demonstrated regenerative powers allowing him to heal and restore lost limbs and teeth. He possesses superhuman reflexes and speed, especially while he is moving underwater. Killer Croc also has an enhanced sense of smell. Once he has become familiar with a person's scent he can track them from miles away. As his appearance and personality has grown more and more bestial, his misanthropy has increased dramatically. He is jealous and hateful of "normal" people and often lashes out violently without provocation.
Who would win? Bane? Or Killer Croc? Vote in the comments!
Fight #3: Clayface vs. Sinestro
Powers and Abilities:
Basil Karlo has the ability to alter his shape to whatever form possible. His extremely malleable body can change shape, size, density, and is almost invincible. He is also extremely agile, strong, durable, and has extreme stamina.
Powers and Abilities:
Sinestro wields a power ring that grants him flight, the ability to survive in any environment, and the ability to create constructs of any shape and size. The ring must be regularly recharged with the aid of a power battery shaped like a lantern.
So, who would be the victor? Clayface, or Sinestro? Vote in the comments!
