First off, I wanna say that I know this is an odd teamup. Frankly I think it would be cool to say the least. I've wanted to see the Watchmen in a fighting game ever since I saw the movie and read the book. Just to throw you a bone, here are some other crossover fighting games I have also mapped out on paper and drawn up rosters and fighting moves lists for and stories!
1. Watchmen vs. The Avengers
2. Mortal Kombat vs. Watchmen
3. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe 2 (including Watchmen characters this time)
If you think I should post another fanfic article about one of those, I will if you request it.
I thought this one was pretty cool, so I decided to post it.

The game is a fighting game. Players will fight on a 3-D plane, similar to Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and Tekken 6.
Story: A rip has formed in the space-time continuum, and the rip has transversed the parallel universes. As the Rip expands, it touches all of the characters' universes in the game. The Watchmen instantly form friends with Shepard and his crew when the Normandy lands in New York. Unbeknownst to the Watchmen, the Rip has caused some space-time distortion. A few people from their universe have come back to life or full health, including some of the Minutemen and a couple of their old villains. Moloch and Captain Axis stir up some trouble, but they get away after the Watchmen and Shepard foil their efforts to start a thug riot.
Shepard takes Rorschach and Nite Owl into his ship, leaving the others behind to protect Earth. They enter the Rip, and find themselves nearby the Sprawl (Dead Space) and the Ishimura floating nearby. After docking on the Ishimura and assisting Issac Clarke while he fights off Necromorph, Shepard and company take Issac into the ship. With nothing left to do, they have a roundtable discussion about what to do. They decide that they should enter the rip and explore the other universes to see if they need help and to see if the Rip can be mended somehow.
Entering the Rip again, they suddenly find the Normandy floating above the Dragon Age world. The world is in chaos; Dante (Dante's Inferno) has suddenly appeared, bringing Hell's minions with him. In the midst of the battle, Rorschach is kidnapped by Death, who enters the fray without warning. Unwilling to work together, Dante flees and leaves the team without looking back and chasing after Death into Hell again. Here it is revealed that the Rip has given them the power to absorb some damage that would normally be fatal blows (bullets, lasers, swords).
At this point, the story splits into two stories that take place simultaneously.
Dante/Rorschach
Dante chases Death for a while, attempting to save Rorschach's life and gain vengeance. After wading through some minions, Death is running out of options. Suddenly, Nomad (Crysis) shows up and is tearing through minions. Believing Dante to be an adversary, Nomad engages him in combat.
Shepard and Company
After recruiting Alistair, Leliana, and Morrigan, the Normandy takes off into the Rip again. Before they have time to realize where they are at, James Bond appears inside the ship. He has stowed away in the ship, waiting for a time to strike. However, Bond is also unwilling to help them. He takes Leliana from behind while the team is discussing their next move. Bond, with Leliana in tow, escapes from the Normandy and free falls to Earth, as the Normandy is now floating above. Bond parachutes to the ground and flees. The team lands and begins their search for Leliana, only to come in sudden contact with Elliot and Tyson (Army of Two) who are searching the jungle they're in. At first, Elliot and Tyson take them on in combat. They are easily defeated, and decide the best course of action is to join the team.
Dante/Rorschach
Nomad and Dante are battling it out intensely, and Death flees again. Death thinks that he is free, but is sadly mistaken. He stumbles upon Matriarch Benezia, who has easily defended herself against Hell. Benezia and Death decide to team up, since they have similar goals. All the while, Rorschach is under a deep spell by Death. Meanwhile, Dante and Nomad are fighting. Nomad bests Dante at first, but Dante gets a second wind and fights back. The result of the battle are left ambiguous so far.
Shepard and Company
Everybody is searching for Bond and Leliana to no avail. Suddenly, a second Garrus attacks them. Before killing the Garrus doppleganger, Elliot and Tyson try to interrogate him. The doppleganger disintegrates into ashes. Confused, the team presses onward. They soon reach a clearing, with a single alien lifeform in the middle of it that looks similar to something from Issac's world. The alien is a pit-like creature in the ground. It spits out another doppleganger, this time of Elliot. After dispatching the doppleganger, they destroy the spawner. When they kill it, a mini-rip opens up and swallows the body. It is evident to them now that the Rip is creating new enemies for them to fight in the form of dopplegangers. The dopplegangers are ill-colored, and evil looking. When they finally think all is well, an entire team of doppleganger's show up. The battle is a fierce one. During the battle, Tyson is killed. Shepard tells Elliot there is still a chance to bring him back to life, shortly before they return to the Normandy to regroup and lick their wounds.
Dante/Rorschach
Nomad is dragging Dante's corpse as he walks in Hell, trying to find a way out. He reaches a fire pit and drops the corpse over the cliff. It hits the lava miles down and sinks. Nomad wanders in Hell for a long time before he hears a shout from Rorschach. Rorschach is being held by some chains. After some convincing, Nomad cuts him down without a word. Rorschach and Nomad wander off together. The reason Death and Benezia left him there is unknown at this point. Soon the duo reach a cliff, with no apparent way to cross to the other side. Without warning, Satan comes up from the deep trench. Satan attacks them. Rorschach and Nomad fight him with all they have and beat him pretty badly. Distraught, Satan tells them that they could never leave Hell without his help anyway. Behind them, Benezia is sneaking up to murder them. Satan, aware of her, says nothing. When she nears them, Rorschach unexpectedly turns around and wraps his hands tightly around Benezia's neck. Benezia and Rorschach are locked in a struggle as Benezia attempts to keep her shield up and fight off Rorschach. They fight, and Rorschach is the victor. With her last bit of power, Benezia takes Rorschach to the edge of the chasm. Rorschach, seeing no other way to end the battle, takes himself and Benezia over the cliff and down into the bottomless pit.
Shepard and Company
The team is beginning to feel hopeless, seeing as they have lost so many of the team already. Issac, feeling a sudden urge of heroism, volunteers himself to go look for Bond and Leliana alone. The team decides that going as a group will lure the dopplegangers out, so Issac should be able to sneak around by himself. Issac is dropped into the jungle with a communicator and a tracking device. Issac begins his long search. After hours of searching and killing one doppleganger spawner, he finally discovers a Rip portal. He leaves his communicator behind and enters. He finds himself in the twisted world of Alice. Coincidentally, Alice has already encountered Bond and Leliana. In fact, she slaughtered Bond and saved Leliana. In a flashback sequence, we witness Bond and Leliana's fight. Also, Bond had to fight several enemies from Wonderland before coming upon Alice. Issac explains the situation to Alice, who agrees that something needs to be done. They leave back through the Rip portal with Leliana in tow.
Dante/Rorschach
Death has reappeared before Satan and Nomad. Death tells them he witnessed the battle between Rorschach and Benezia. He reveals that the Rorschach that died was not the real Rorschach, but in fact an exact duplicate created with evil power. Stricken with grief at the duplicate's sacrifice, Death presents Nomad with the real Rorschach who is now awake. He tells them that he and Benezia were planning on using the duplicate to lure them to Satan, but the plan failed because they defeated him. Death offers to take them out of Hell, as a final gesture of goodwill (in a “I couldn't beat you” kind of way). Death takes them to the Normandy, who is greatly surprised by their arrival through a random portal. Looking through the portal, they see Satan take Death back into Hell to be punished for his kindness.
Here, the stories come back together.
Issac picks his communicator back up and alerts the Normandy, who picks the him, Leliana, and Alice up. Now that the whole group is back together with a few new faces, they have one last discussion about what to do next. They decide to take the next Rip portal that is above the planet in space. With high hopes, they take the portal and wind up at the Watchmen universe. Much to their horror, a Reaper (Mass Effect) has been tearing apart New York city. Rorschach and Nite Owl assemble the rest of the Watchmen and Minutemen and prepare for battle. The whole crew from the Normandy prepares as well.
Meanwhile, Grayson Hunt has been lost in the city. In a side-story, Grayson fights Moloch the Mystic and Captain Axis in a series of battles that take them across the city and through various thug hideouts. With nowhere left to run, Grayson finally kills Moloch and Captain Axis. Without missing a beat, he winds up with the team of heroes.
Also, Faith Connors has been following the exploits of the Watchmen who stayed behind on Earth to defend it. She battles a few of them individually and defeats them, shortly before Dr. Manhattan arrives. She fights him and fails to beat him. When he defeats her, he tells her what has happened. He takes her to the battle.
In an epic last stand, the team fights against a horde of dopplegangers and finally engages a giant human Reaper (Mass Effect 2). They defeat the Reaper. Afterwards, several Rip portals open up. By looking into each one, like a glass, they were able to see which world they were going to. Elliot goes with Shepard instead of his own world, to get Tyson back and start a new life there. The Minutemen are transformed back to their original states (the ones that were dead die again, their souls going up to heaven). Issac stays behind in the Watchmen world, with no desire to return to the world where he must fight the Necromorphs.
