Lets break this down a little, shall we?

Alright. So like most other people on this site, I have read the leaked script. This is my first little article so forgive it for not looking too fancy, only asking that you hear me out.

I for one, believe that the Arrogant Alien fella on Twitter is telling the truth. He provided his original to Latino Review and they took down their scoops. He also claims that he has been leaking false rumors for the last 7 months. Which is genius. Futher more he has even said hes willing to speak to the press about it and provide evidence.

Even if you dont believe him lets take a look at what we KNOW.

And the fact is, not a whole lot. We have been given a title, and two pictures. Everything else we have to pretty much put together from set photos. When the first picture of Superman dropped last week Snyder put a lot of emphasis on Superman, and how he would be working at the DP and balancing Superman. From this script we didnt get a whole lot of work from Clark at all, but a lot of tagging around with Lois.

-The picture that dropped has Superman in Gotham, in this script he was never really in Gotham.

-Set photos revealed a burnt up Lexcorp building, in this script this never happened

- More set photos show a broken Superman statue, the script never had this either.

-Mention of 4 Lanterns? Come on.

- Some of the story was very much from the animated JL show, and the entire final fight was basically the fan made youtube video of the trinity fighting Doomsday/ Death of Superman videos.

-Set photos showed a conveniece store that was rumored to be featuring the Flash, no store was ever in the script.

-More set photos reveal the cottage on the lake that Bruce Wayne will supposedly operate out of at times, this was also never in the script.

There were just plenty of inconsistencies in this that didnt match what we could physically see. And this script contained most of the rumors this guy has been leaking for months. That isnt to say that all rumors are false, but think about it; A LOT of the rumors that have came out, are kind of crap and make the movie seem very bloated. This script was all over the place, although I did enjoy some parts. It was very obvious fan-fiction.

The recent scoops that JoBlo dropped about two weeks ago are the only ones that I have felt made sense. Such as reporting Wonder Womans costume, which was not in this script, mentioning Bruce Waynes cottage, which again, was not in the script, and Lex Luthors motivations. Those were quite similar, but do not matter.

While I read the script it definitely felt VERY different from Man of Steel, it just didnt seem like it fit at all, and was not Terrio quality.

Things I enjoyed about this false script

-Superman was written well, and I enjoyed the mother/son relationship

-The introduction type scene for Batman was very interesting and I thought would have worked quite well on screen.

-Lex's writing was quite well, although I didnt like tech company angle. I have a hard time buying this since what we got in Man of Steel was sky scrapers, oil tankers, big rigs, and construction sites. Yes, totally screams hipster google/facebook company.

-
The reimagined Dark Knight Returns dialogue in the Batman/Superman fight was pretty good. But I had issues with that scene as well.

Things I did not enjoy!

The Aquaman/ Not Aquaman inclusion.

Story fell apart at the end.

- I was not a fan of the Amazonian Embassy in Metropolis. It was never explained.

- The way the writer used "his symbol of HOPE" on nearly every page to describe Supermans chest piece. That immediately screamed fan fiction for me.

- Energy drinking gangster Luthor. Nor did I enjoy him using his phone to accomplish everything.

- I like that Lex teased Bruce about knowing Batmans height and weight, I did not like Lex confrotning Bruce and actually knowing who he was, it was better simply to tease.

-Batman working with Lex.

- Doomsday, period. I did not like his inclusion or being called the Ultimate.

- John Stewart, Amanda Waller, the President. All of those characters and more didnt do much for me.

- Superman dying. I wouldnt mind it happening like that, just not in this movie. Im very much hoping this does not happen.

- The ending with Batman making a "Hope symbol" search light in the sky and into Lex's office. Terrible idea.

- Much more, but that is what stood out to me.

I have absolute faith in Snyder and Terrio and absolutely cant wait for this movie. My only issue with Man of Steel was that Goyer had missed opportunities to add more Superman-esque lines. Then again, 40 minutes were cut from the movie. Perhaps the directors cut will come one day. Glad to know we have Terrio now leading the writing, and having Ben behind the camera with a director who loves to collab with his actors. This movie will be amazing! Lets hope we learn what this ArrogantAlien was trying to teach us and not eat up every rumor! :]

I apologize for grammar, spelling, anything else. Just trying to voice my opinion and want to know what the rest of you think!

It's not real because no one with half a brain believes it is real. End of story.

Well sadly a lot....a lot of people believed it. I almost did for just a little, only like the first few scenes of the movie, and then it just got cray.

El Mayimbe is a joke. If he thought it was real he wouldnt have been as hurt about it as he was, and removed his article. Especially after the guy told him the guise he was emailing him under.

I thought it was a fun read. I actually thought the "fan servicey" moments were tastefully done and weren't overbearing. All of the characters that were included probably wouldn't even have been named and only comic book fans would know (Carrie Kelly in particular). I thought the Aquaman/Superman fight was cool, I hope we get something like that on screen. I loved the part where Lex said "6'2", 225 lbs....I was talking about the Batman..." That sounds like a very "Lex Luthory" thing to say, but I agree him actually showing up in Bruce's Metropolis Armory was kind of silly. El Mayimbe is an idiot for believing this is true, but I'm happy that everything we've heard up to this point is false, I'd rather not know anything going in.

It had it's moments with a fairly decent premise, but was executed poorly.

@Spidey I did like the encounter he had with Aquaman, but I was still a bit confused. Isnt Orin his brother? Since he was never called Aquaman I feel like it was Arthur. Even though he said he understood not being accepted among people. It just didnt make much sense. Unless it was really Aquaman and they changed his name for shits and gigs. Either way, fake! But fun.

@Neihofft

You're thinking of Orm. I wasn't familiar with him being called Orin either but I guess in some continuities that's his Atlantean name. Maybe he was getting at that he (Aquaman) took his Atlantean name because he was never accepted by the "land-dwellers"? I don't know. I guess it doesn't really matter because it's fake! hah

@Spidey5194 Like I said, I thought most of the beginning of this fake movie was pretty good, and kinda fell apart to me during the whole Morgan Edge assassination thing. Still REALLY hoping they dont use Doomsday in this movie.

I can just imagine El Mayimbe receiving this script in an e-mail and thinking to himself:

"Oh yeah esé...I'm the Apex Scoop Predator, bringing down the big scoops. Scoop Hunters bag elephants mother [frick]ers."

Hilarious how the tables have turned!

Same here man, I'm still hoping for Metallo as the main threat that Superman has to fight.

neihofft - 7/9/2014, 3:16 PM
@Spidey5194 Yeah. No one is really going to want to report this because it will make them all look bad and unreliable. Although what this guy did was incredible. Totally duped everyone. I personally didnt like the sound of almost any rumor.

Also I feel like an idiot. Didnt realize Aquamans Atlantean name was Orin, only read his New 52 and must have missed that.

Metallo makes a lot of sense, or even parasite. I just hope that experimentation on Zods body is not done in any way. I doubt Superman would have just left his body there at all in the first place.

El Mayimbe was on this site like 2-3 weeks ago saying stuff like "You guys still doubt me? smh" about one of his scoops.

Like we are supposed to believe him 100% of the time or something. That makes this even funnier.

God that script was awful and the Superman/Batman fight was just horribly done. See my Superman/Batman fight would consist of Superman just blowing the gernade back at bruce or dodging it because you know his faster then a speeding bullet and then taping his Bat's head with his pinky causing bruce to pass out and Superman taking Bruce to Alfred and Supes saying "Tell him he won, it will make him feel better."
