X-MEN: RISE OF APOCALYPSE


Opening Scene.

A man is running down a large hallway. Gunfire can be heard behind him.

Man:
Team we’ve been compromised ! Abort! I repeat abort!

When he gets to the end of the hall he hit’s a wall.

Man:
Dammit.

He turns around and faces the enemies coming toward him

He smiles.

Voice over earpiece:
Bishop, what’s your status?

Bishop:
Ready to go home. Where are you, Cable?

Cut To:

Cable walking toward a large door that’s slightly open with a bright light beaming through it.

Cable has his gun armed in one hand and a large staff in the other hand. He’s ready to do damage.

Cable:
Getting ready to take him down.

Cable runs and breaks through the door.

Cable:
APOCALYPSE!!

In the room Apocalypse stands to the far end in front of a large pyramid shaped machine.

Apocalypse gives Cable an evil grin then says.

Apocalypse:
Its looks as if your to late.

Cable runs toward him screaming.

Cable:
NOOOO!

He fires his gun.

Then…

Cable is knocked back and smashed against the wall. Dirt, dust and debris covering the air. He stands to his feet coughing. Bishop walks in the room.

Bishop: (anxious)
Did you kill him?

Cable:
No. He got away.

Bishop:
So what does this mean?

Cable:
We get ready for an even bigger fight.

Opening credits.




Cut To: Canada.

A cabin sits all alone in the middle of the Canadian mountains.

Insides a small far is in the fireplace lighting the whole room.

A man sits stands in front of a window starring out into the night, holding a beer in his hand. Shower water can be heard in the back ground. The man has a smile on his face. Things seem to be going good for him.

The shower water stops.

He takes a sip from the bottle.

A woman comes walking up behind him with a towel wrapped around her body.

Woman:
Logan.

Logan smiles and touches her hand.

Logan:
Jean.

Jean takes a deep breath then walks away. Logan turns and watches as she goes.

Jean:
Baby, are you coming to bed?

Logan drops his bottle on a nearby table and follows her to the bedroom, closing the door behind him.

Cut To
Xavier Mansion

Ext.
The front yard of the school is field with active students. Some are just lounging, and others are in a class session.

A handsome young man stands in front of 4students giving them a lecture.
Teacher:
I was told that today was your first day.

The students all nod there heads.

The man smiles.

Teacher:
Don’t seem so down. What’s wrong with you guys?

Student 1:
I’ve never been around so many mutants at once.

He laughs.

Teacher:
Is that the same thing that’s the matter with the rest of you?

The students nod there heads again.

Teacher:
Well, Professor Xavier also told me that all 5 of us had something in common.

Female Student:
What’s that?

Teacher:
We all can fly.

He takes off to the sky.

Teacher:
Stick with me. And you’ll be doing this by the end of the week.

All the students are on the ground starring up at the teacher.

Student2:
He’s an Angel…

Int Class.

A beautiful woman stands in front of a class with no more than 10 children.

Then young mean in the class are hard at work paying close attention to there teacher, while the girls are laughing amongst themselves at the boys.

Emma:
Controlling your abilities has to start within your mind. You must keep your mind at ease at all times. Because if you don’t then that’s how mistakes happens with your gifts.

She puts the book down on her desk, then walks over to one of the male students.

Emma:
What’s your name?

The boy sits up straight in his chair and clears his throat.

Boy:
My names David, ma’am.

Emma:
Ma’am, aren’t you the respectable one.

The boy gives an awkward smile.

Emma: Cont.
Daivd what is your gift?

David
Um, when I touch someone I abosrb there skills, and everything they know..

Emma:
Oh, really. Can you control it?

He starts getting uncomfortable.

David:
No…after I do it for about a day, maybe sometimes longer, I forget who I am.

Emma:
Interesting.

A bell rings and the children get out of there seats and head toward the exit. Emma stands there thinking about this new mutant that she’s met.

A man walks in.

Man
Emma:
Emma turns around to great him.

Emma:
Hello, Scott. Are you here to bother the teacher once more?

Scott walks over to her closing the classroom door behind him.

As Scott kisses Emma a voice rolls into his head.

Woman’s Voice:
Scott.

Scott backs off of Emma for a second.

Emma:confused
Are you ok?

Scott:
Yeah, sorry. I…sorry.

Emma: takes a deep breath
Its fine.

Scott:
Are we still on for dinner tonight?

Emma:
Of course my love. Only if you can keep your mind in the right places.

Scott:
I asked you not to…

She cuts him off.

Emma:
I didn’t have to read your mind…its written all over you face.

Scott takes a deep breath and walks in closer to her.

Scott:
Emma, my love is for only you.

Int. Cerebro

Professor Xavier is deep in concentration using Cerebro when he senses something then stops.

The doors open and in walks Rogue.

Rogue:
What’s going on Professor?

Xasvier: worried
Something’s not right.

Then…

Rogue: scared
PROFESSOR!

Xavier: straining
…run…

He disappears in a cloud of smoke.

Rogue stands there shocked. She frozen in place.

Rogue: whispers
Professor.


Cut to.
Unknown

A man sit’s at a large computer.
Voice 1:
Master.

Voice 2:
Yes.

Voice 1:
His signal just grew stronger..

A figure steps out of the darkness.

Mr. Sinister:
Really.

Voice 1:
Yes, sir. It looks like he’s going to be landing in the Egypt area.

Mr. Sinister:
How long before our guest arrives?

Voice 1:
Within the hour.

A sinister smile comes across his face.

Mr. Sinister:
Good. Lets prepare for our guest arrival.


He turns to walk away.

Mr. Sinister: cont.
Oh, and send our old friend to the school. When are guest arrives he’ll be drained. And make sure he gets the right one.

Int. Cerebro

Scott, Emma, and Rogue, are standing where Xavier vanished.

Emma:
Rogue, what exactly was he doing?

Rogue:
He was using Cerebro. When I walked in it looked like something had him spooked.

Emma looks at Cerebro then touches it.

Emma:
I need to know what he saw.

Emma grabs Cerebro and slides it on her head.

Emma: cont.
I need you guys to leave.

Scott:
I’m not leaving you in here.

Emma:
Scott, its ok.

Rogue walks out of the room and Scott follows behind him.

Emma: taking a deep breath
Alrgight Professor…what did you see?

Cut to.
Front door of the Xavier Mansion.

There’s a knock on the door.

Warren:
I got it.

Warren walks over to the door and opens it.

Warren:Surpised
Shit.

Warren is knocked back across the room and breaks threw a wall.

Students stand around in shock seeing what has just happened to Warren.

Then door breaks open and the walls around it crumbles apart.

Juggernaut:
Big brothers home.

The students see the gigantic monster they take off running and screaming in different directions.

Juggernaut runs into the house destroying everything in his path.

Cut to. War Room

Scott and Rogue hear the noise going on upstairs.

Scott:
The hell is that?

They race up stairs.

Cut to.
Hallways

When Rogue and Scott make it to the students a lot of the students are hurt and laying on the ground.

Rogue runs over to a little girl laying on the ground.

Rogue:
Honey what happened?

Girl:
Big man!

Scott:
Big Man?

Piotr:
She means Juggernaut.

Scott:
Where is he?

Piotr:
He’s looking for someone. You gather the rest of the kids and get out of here. I’ll handle Cain.

A wall falls down and appears Juggernaut.

Juggernaut:
You’ll handle me, huh? I’d love to see you try!

Piotr:
Go, Scott.

Scott and Rogue help some of the students to there feet and disappears in the mansion.

Piotr: cont.
I’ve been waiting to do this for a very long time.

Juggernaut laughs.

Juggernaut:
Really!? Well…I’m glad I was on your bucket list.

The two massive monsters charge toward each other

Cut to.
Library

Hank McCoy sits in a library reading a book.

A phone rings. Hank hops up to answer .

Hank:
Hello?

Scott:
Hank! Its, Scott. Listen we’re having an…

The line goes dead.

Hank:
Hello? Scott? Scott?

Hank sniffs the air and smells something funny.

Hank:
Who are you?

Bastion steps out of the darkness.

Bastion:
My name is Bastion. And your going to be my masters pet.

Hank jumps at him but Bastions grabs him by the throat in mid air.

Bastion:
Fighting is pointless.

Bastion squeezes tighter around Hanks throat until he falls unconscious. He drops Hank to the ground then walks out of the room.



Back in the mansion.

Piotr:
What are you doing here, Cain!?

Piotr slams Juggernaut to the ground. As Juggernaut tries to pick himself off the ground, Piotr kicks him in the face.

Juggernaut laughs.

Juggernaut:
I got a new job.

Juggernaut stands to his feet. He brushes his shoulder off then spits.

Juggernaut: cont.
I’m a collector now.

Colossus walks over to him and gets ready to swing.

Juggernaut smashes Colossus into the ground, knocking Colossus unconscious.

Juggernaut: laughing
Piece of cake.

Warren finally awakes to see Juggernaut standing victorious over Colossus.


Warren:
Bastard!

Warren flies over to Juggernaut at top speed.

Juggernaut turns around and catches Warren.

Juggernaut:
Not today bird boy.

Juggernaut rips the wings off of Warren.

Warrens lifeless body falls to the ground.

Juggernaut:
How about one more flight?

Juggernaut grabs Warrens leg spends him around then shoot him out the roof of the mansion, disappearing into the night sky.

Juggernaut: laughing
I’d call that a homerun.

Cut to

Midnight.
Egypt.

Mr. Sinister stands there starring at the sky. He’s waiting for something.

Then…

Mr. Sinister grins.

Mr. Sinister: Kneeling down.
Master. I’ve graciously awaited your arrival. Please master tell me what is our first agenda.

The smoke finally clears.

Apocalypse:
Gather my horseman.

Mr. Sinister:
As you wish.

Cut to.
Xavier Mansion

Juggernaut is walking through the halls looking for someone.

Juggernaut:
Come out lil mutant. I saw you earliar with pretty boy.

He smashes down walls. Looking into rooms.

Scott and Rogue hide up against a wall at the end of the hallway.

Rogue:
So what do you say we do captain?

Scott:
You go check on Emma. I’ll take on big man.

Rogue: smiling
Are you sure? Because you know I can at least bring him down to his knees.

Scott:
Yeah. I got this. Just go.

Rogue runs off into the mansion.

Scott takes a breath then steps from behind the wall.

Scott:
Hey big boy!

Juggernaut sees Scott and smiles.

Scott:
Taste this!

The blast hits Juggernaut but it only stumbles him.

Juggernaut:
That all you got pretty boy!

Scott screams at the top of his lungs. Then the blast comes out larger.

The blast knocks Juggernaut back down the end of the hall.

Scott falls to his knees.


Males Voice:
Fights not over yet.

Scott turns around.

Pietro:
Where’s Rogue?

Scott:
What do you want with her?

Pietro kicks Scott in the face knocking him out then dashes off into the mansion looking for Rogue.


Cut to.
Cerebro

Rogue walks into Cerebro and sees Emma in the same spot.

Rogue:
Emma I know you probably know this but we gotta get outta here, doll.

Rogue walks over to Emma and she sees the same face that Xavier made before he vanished.

Rogue:
Emma?

Emma takes the Cerebro off of her head and a tear falls out of her eye.

Rogue:
Emma what’s wrong?

Emma:
This is only the beginning.

Rogue: confused
What?

Emma:
Everything you know will come to an end.

Rogue helps Emma to her feet and carries her out of the room. When she the door opens Pietro is standing on the other side.

Pietro:
Hello beautiful.

Before Rogue can react, Pietro sticks a syringe into her neck and she falls to the ground.

Fade to black.
Int, Unknown

Apocalypse and Sinister are walking down a hallway discussing there plans.

Apocalypse:
Everything will slowly fall into place. Then I will have control over this universe.

Mr. Sinister:
Yes master you will.

Apocalypse:
How are my horseman coming along?

Mr. Sinister:
Once the other’s return with there bodies the process will take only a matter of hours. The first test subject you have brought is coming along very very nicely.

Apocalypse:
Let me see him.

Mr. Sinister:
Of course.

They walk through a door and enter a laboratory. A shadow can be seen in the back of the room.

Apocalypse:
Can you hear me?

Shadow:
Yes.

Apocalypse:
Who is your master?

Shadow:
Apocalypse:

Apocalypse: smiling
Good.

Apocalypse turns to walk away.

Apocalypse: cont.
Your name is Nemeses. Your one of my 4 horsemen.

Nemeses:
Yes, Lord Apocalypse.

Apocalypse: to sinister
I want the rest of them here now!

Mr. Sinister:
Yes master.

Mr. Sinister stays in the room. He looks toward Nemeses.

Mr. Sinister:
Nemeses.

Nemesis:
Yes.


Mr. Sinister:
You have only one order.

Nemesis:
And what is my order?

Mr. Sinister:
Kill every human and mutant.

Nemesis:
Glady.


Ext. Xavier Mansion

This once beautiful palace is now ruble.

Scott stands in the center defeated. He looks around at the destruction.

Scott:
Jean…I need you…

Ext.
Alaskan mountains.

Jean walks through the snow filled forest then a voice runs through her head dropping her to the ground.

Voice:
JEAN!

Jean falls to the ground in agony. She screams out.

Jean:
Logan!

Cut to.

Logan stands behind his cabin cutting wood with his claws smoking a cigar. He hears Jean’s scream then drops what he’s doing and runs to her.

Logan:
Jean?! Jean!

He finally finds her on the ground. He kneels down to help her up.

Logan:
Jean, what’s wrong?

Jean:
We need to get to the school.

Int.
Unknown.



Fade to black.
