FANTASTIC FOUR Trailer Breaks Records For Fox; Simon Kinberg Comments On Success

20th Century Fox has revealed today that the first trailer for Fantastic Four was viewed 42 million times within the few days of its release. That breaks their current record, topping the the X-Men: Days of Future Past teaser. Both movies share writer and producer Simon Kinberg, and he had this to say about its success in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "We took our time with that traile. What we were trying to tell people was: Here’s the tone of the movie. My favorite trailers are the ones who set the world, the tone, the voice of the movie, without telling you too much about the story. It’s totally different from what the previous movies had done, and it’s much more akin to what the Ultimate Fantastic Four series did." As for how Kinberg feels now that people have finally seen something from the movie, he adds: "We really wanted to let people know: This is a Fantastic Four movie that takes character seriously, that has hard-tech science-fiction, and it has an intensity that you may not expect from this franchise." What do you think?

Why people compared views with success,it's not the same, people can be simply curious to see what shit will come,I see the trailer but I'm not interest, like I'v see Ant-Man's trailer but for me is a shit,so wake up idiots we'll see the success only when peoples decide to spend their money to go in the theatres

Calling it FANT4STIC isn't really helping anyone give this film a chance at being good.

I don't agree with it is not the real FF or it is not the real X-Men. It's just another interpretation of these characters you are not fan of. I personally liked the trailer a lot (minus the cast) and I'll probably go and see it.

Don't get the Fox hate anymore. They've made 3 good movies in a row, and this trailer looks decent.

Why can't we all just hold hands and collectively shit on Sony? :P
