"I don't know anything about it," Alba said of the planned Fantastic Four reboot while talking to MTV's Splash Page.

The actress went on to say that she is pleased with her two installments to the series even if Fox decide to start all over with the next movie, "Our 'Fantastic Four' made a lot of money and kids loved it. And little boys and little girls look up to a female as a superhero. To be one of the first — if not the first — in this generation to do that, I was pretty honored."

"So, I'm happy that's out there," she said.

Between the crap acting, Mister Fantastic's Welsh accent slipping through every few minutes, the messy origins, the pathetic Doctor Doom, childish script and cloud Galactus I hated them! Though to be fair, the second one was a little better...but only the scenes with Silver Surfer! :P

I agree with Minotauro...
i kept WAITING for something cool to happen! i REALLY wanted to see Galactus in the flesh... and the Doctor Doom bits were just so laughable! he's supposed to be this great evil that gives the four of them a run for their money. and i did like the Silver Surfer bits, but there couldve been so much more done with all of that. i dont think they should do another one... EVER!! unless they can actually make Ben's rock flesh look real. maybe mo cap and do it CGI instead of lame makeup.

Yeah I think it was crazy that they did not have Galactus like he was in the comics because he was not realistic enough. Come on really? Its FF for godsake whats realistic about it in the first place. I was so pissed about the cloud. I kept looking at the cloud in the theatre like it was one of those pics you stare at to see something hidden in it to see if the real Galactus was in there somewhere. Sadly I never saw him

They completely f*cked up Doom. Like, one of the biggest character rapings in CBM history. They turned a brilliant mastermind and ruler of an entire country, who is one of the biggest villains in the Marvel Universe, into a douchebag rich boy who wears a plastic mask and can shoot SyFy level lightning effects from his fingers. Preeety lame.

And they turned a planet-eating monster into Cloudy With A Chance of Galactus. Also lame.

Reed was an unfunny buffoon.

Sue was a boring, wooden, unmotherly girl who seemed even dumber than Reed did.

Only good things were Evans and Silver Surfer, and Chiklis was pretty good too.

The first one was one of the worst cbm's ever made..teh second one was shit but had Surfer..who was done pretty well all things considered.

Alba is gorgeous..and crap.

@Josh - You made alot of good assumptions. I liked them cause of the chemistry of The Thing & Johnny.. FF2 is a no brainer for me, Silver Surfer... The Thing and Johnny are always making wise cracks every issue just like the movie, or it sucked really bad because of Alba? I already know one reason was because of Doom. But, I enjoyed the movies..

Alba is just eye candy. And I like January Jones (she's hot and quick witted), but from what I've seen she doesn't have much of a range. She could work though maybe.

Well I have tried to be understanding of the choice of actors that were chosen for the two FF movies. I was never a huge fan of them but a comicbook fan in total so I know a lot about FF. Chris Evans was good as Johnny as was Mike Chiklis as Ben Grimm. When he became Thing I never understood why they didnt make him more huge, how would he ever fight the Hulk? Dr. Doom was the biggest bust of the films. Here you have the single greatest threat of a supervillian and he was made to look like crap. Yes to a reboot. Have Ben exposed to another dose of cosmic rays so he becomes the Thing we all know and love. I've said it quite a few times on here....IT CANT BE THAT HARD TO MAKE A COMICBOOK MOVIE!
