POLL: How Would You Rate The FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot?

Fantastic Four is one of the worst reviewed comic book movies of all-time, but now that the reboot is in theaters worldwide, it's time for YOU to weigh in on your feelings about the release which director Josh Trank has disowned on social media. So, hit the jump to share your rating...

Fantastic Four has a 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is on course to being a box office flop. It was in March 2014 that reports surfaced about Fox wanting to ditch the cast and crew of the movie to start again and January of this year when claims surfaced in regards to the reboot being scrapped altogether. What sounded like silly rumours at the time are now looking a lot more realistic, and based on what we were left with, the studio giving up might just have been for the best.

The first trailer restored some faith in the reboot, but seeing as the majority of that footage didn't even end up in the movie, it's clear that whatever Fantastic Four was at that point changed greatly due to reshoots. In fact, if rumours are to be believed, it underwent over 40 pages worth of them! Now, director Josh Trank has taken to Twitter to distance himself from the release, and while that was quickly deleted, his controversial comments have since gone viral (see that by clicking here).

So, what did you think of the critically panned Fantastic Four reboot? Cast your vote below, and once you've done that, be sure to share your more in-depth thoughts on it in the usual place.

I saw this last night....

2/5 for me.....maybe 1.5....due to the 2nd half of the movie.....and Doom looking stupid...

The Thing was the best part of the movie.....Imagine with proper CGI how good he could look...

I now want to see a Marvel Studio's version....the best way to introduce them....is in other movies....No origin....and DO NOT CALL IT FANTASTIC FOUR due to FOX [frick]ing up 4 (Pun Intended) movies....

Just call it Secret Wars..

Lets hope they do a deal with Marvel..

I think Marvel's Future Foundation could work too.

Infinity War would be the perfect time to introduce them to the MCU, what with all the cosmic elements

Went in expecting it to be utter crap. Left feeling relatively fine...

The film certainly wasn't perfect but it wasn't an assault on the senses that some reviews made it out to be. I guess our standards for comicbook movies are getting higher, but the film ok. I don't know enough about Dr Doom to be offended by him, like others are. He was a menacing enough villian... even if his screen time was lacking and motivations were under developed.

I'm glad I saw it for myself.

Just like Seth Rogan's The Green Hornet I'm afraid The Fantastic Four title and property are damaged for the foreseeable future. If , by some miracle, rights were transferred and Marvel mounted a redo tomorrow it would be a long time before the FF didn't leave a sour taste in the mouth of the general public.

I hope Marvel had the insight to remove their logo from this cinematic abortion.

it wasn't a good movie, but the critics and Fanboys have made it even worse, would have been a ok movie if it didn't got involved in all the rights issues, way too much negativity from critics who went in to see an Oscar nomination, Director vs Executives issues etc but its a whole other issue.

Based on Rotten tomatoes scores, Super Mario Bros is twice as good and Green Lantern is 3 times better than this film... and it's just barely better than Troll 2 which sits at 6%. That can't be right, nothing should even be close to that pile of shit, but now I want to see how bad it truly is.

And, yes, Future Foundation would be awesome

I don't understand the logic of some of you marvel fanboys. You're going to pay 11 dollars to see this(shoot yourself in the foot) showing fox that holding Marvel's properties hostage and putting them out bloody and beaten for ransom is indeed profitable. Some of you are the same people who then b"tch about why Galactus isn't name dropped in the MCU Guardians of the Galaxy or why the skrulls or kang can't show up in the MCU avengers. Just think of how awesome it would have been for DOOM to be mentioned as dictator of Latveria in Age of Ultron. If you really must see this do us true fans a favor and see it on bootleg [solarmovie] [putlocker]. Let our boys come home.
