Professional storyboard artist, Darrin Denlinger, has sent
Film Sketchr some interesting storyboards he created for Tim Story's
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. They're interesting because they depict scenes that did not take place in the film. The first two images below reveal scenes that were going to take place at Dr. Doom's castle in Latveria in which his Doombots were gonna battle the Fantastic Four. The third image includes a scene with the Fantasticar. It would've taken place during the climax. Yes, the vehicle did appear in the film, but it didn't have much involvement in the final battle. The final image is of a rescue mission that would've included The Thing wearing a custom-fit scuba outfit. Yeah, I'm not so sure about that idea either. Still, it's interesting see.
