Great cast. Great director. Ultimates influence. Looking at the facts, there isn't much to fear.

Also, there's nothing wrong with grounded. Just because it's a trend, doesn't mean it can't be good.

I can't elaborate much better than this.

It's hard to argue with the casting, only person I'm not sold on is Michael B Jordan.

I'm really liking what I'm hearing so far. How he describes the way their characters are lurking deep down inside.

I stand by the cast.
Miles Teller looks just like Reed to me, regardless of age. And besides, the Fantastic Four were young when they started out, wasn't Johnny in High School or something?

Kate Mara is gonna nail her role, she can bring the beauty and brains needed for Sue which unfortunately Jessica Alba could never do.

Jamie Bell, well, he's always been one to watch since Billy Elliot, he's been getting better and better.

And the race change of Johnny, well, sure I'd love for him to look just like he does in the page. Changing the colour of his skin does nothing to change the character or the dynamic he can have with Sue.
Take this from someone who's mother is adopted and shares just as close of a bond to her sisters as any biological siblings do.

i actually really like the idea of casting Michael as Johnny Storm.

FF gonna make probably more many than Ant Man. Still ... it can bomb. It doesn't have to be a sleeper hit like "First Class". More advertisment Fox. + next trailer should not be in a vein of "Interstellar". Show us something new. Everyone will think it's a Nolan movie rip off.

I love how the youngest person in this cast is 28 and we complain about them being young... By the time the seuql is out they'll all be in there 30's!

I'm going to be honest, prior to reading the Ultimate FF, I had no real interest in the FF. Now I know that some may say I'm not a 'true fan' for this reason but prior to UFF. I saw Reed and Sue the lamest of the team but after, all of them are my favorites. I never really was able to relate to the 616 Reed and the UFF made me see Sue as a character I wouldn't want to F*ck with.

The first few volumes of Ultimate Fantastic Four were good and I know that Trank will make a good movie.

@CherryBomb 100% agreed. Reed was actually like 25 when he became Mr.Fantastic.

Everything Trank says about Johnny Storm really does suit Michael B Jordan.

I'm not going to doubt or underestimate this movie at all. Just because it's going to depart from the comics doesn't mean it's going to be a bad movie. Just look at Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Trank is still interested in the characters and the team itself, which is why he chose to do this movie in the first place and why the characters will stay true to their comic book counterpart.

I don't care how talented the people involved are. This is a shit adaptation of The Fantastic Four, and that's a fact.
