No to all of this. Focus on a good origin story, with Doctor Doom as the villain and give some hints of the coming of Galactus at the end of the movie. The end.

@IMCOOLURNOT - if you think Doom is gonna be the main villain of the first movie you havent been paying attention to the MCU.

They arent interested in just redoing what's been done already, not with Spiderman, not with X Men and not with F4.

@Chris827 - A classic F4 Villain like Mole Man would be so cool. Let's so some weird stuff first!

Joe Keery as Johnny Storm would be excellent across from Tom Holland’s Spidey

Why were all of these involving Spiderman? IF you are introducing the first family into the MCU then let them have their own story to tell... there is enough time to have Spidey showup or vice versa.. but not in the first movie. thats just dumb to me

Warning: I'm bored at work, and this will be a little long. But here's what I'd do:

1) Introduce Doctor Doom in Black Panther 2. Even in a post-credits scene, just establish Latveria and intro Doom as the vain ruler who wants a greater Empire than what what was built in Wakanda. You could have him standing in front of a disassembled, stripped Black Panther suit and commenting on the "pedestrian" understanding of vibranium. Give a line about how their resources are wasted.

2) Introduce the F4 in their own solo movie. You can have references to other MCU stuff, but no team-ups. Focus on the family dynamic. But have a post-credits scene of Spider-Man running into Torch on top of a building in NYC. Establish a connection via short conversation, so we see a budding friendship.

3) Spidey 4 needs to be about Peter and the black suit, with Chameleon as a villain. With the world forgetting about Peter Parker in NWH, this is the perfect opportunity to mess with Peter's head. As a teenager, he may see the black suit as a way to reinvent himself or explore other ways of being Spider-Man. Enter Chameleon. He is a villain with his sights set on reforming NYC, and he sets out to do so by adopting the Mayor's identity, as well as JJJ's, and Spider-Man's. Peter uses the black suit to try and set the record straight on who Spider-Man is, while also struggling internally on deciding who Peter Parker is. And at some point, Spidey seeks out the Human Torch to bring the symbiote to Reed Richards to examine (Sony's gotta have MCU cameos, and we need to further establish Peter's relationship with Johnny and the F4).

4) This is where things ramp up. Fantastic Four: Future Foundation. This is a little different from the Future Foundation in the comics, but the movie opens with Johnny getting severely injured and hospitalized after a seemingly reckless outing. Reed decides to start a secret initiative to recruit young and/or new heroes to help guide them into using their abilities responsibly. He seeks out Spider-Man's help to recruit candidates and develop the program, as Spider-Man is one of the few people Reed considers intelligent enough to oversee the Foundation. Long story short, Peter finds some young heroes (maybe pull from young Avengers pre-emptives like Kate Bishop, Stature, Patriot, etc) with whom he sees potential. Well, suddenly Sue goes missing, which sends Reed down a bad path. Reed reveals to Peter that Victor Von Doom is responsible for both Sue's disappearance (ironic) and Johnny's accident. He explains the clues he's been following, ending with Reed revealing that the Future Foundation is Reed's personal initiative to bring down Doom before he grows into a much larger threat. Peter gets angry with Reed and tells him how unfair it is to put the young heroes in that kind of danger, and the two have a superpowered fight, ending with The Thing clobbering Spider-Man and Reed revealing that he's already sent the Future Foundation on the mission to bring Doom to justice.

Ultimately, Peter finds/rescues Sue and explains what Reed has been up to, and that Ben is on his side. Johnny recovers enough to seek Peter out, and there is a brief Civil War-esque fight between Reed/Ben and Peter/Sue. Peter figures out that Reed is scared of Victor von Doom and uses that info to out Reed for being more reckless than anything Johnny could have done. Reed reluctantly agrees to join forces with Peter to beat the Future Foundation to Doctor Doom before they get in over their head.

They meet Doom on his barren throne in Latveria. It's quiet. He's wearing a cape, but no helmet or armor. He reveals that the whole thing was a way to get Reed Richards in front of him, to help him build "something". He doesn't want anything to do with Johnny, Sue, or any of the rest of them. He then reveals that he's already captured the Future Foundation and has imprisoned them somewhere in Latveria. The group breaks out into a fight, and Doom lays waste to everyone with his gauntlets, flight, and unsuspected super-strength. Reed is ready to comply, when a fireball surprises everyone and strikes Doom across the cheek. Doom sees himself in a reflection and freaks out at his new deformity (a small burn). He pulls a hood over his head and lashes out at Johnny. But Doom's new lack of focus is his downfall, as Spidey and the rest of the F4 are able to strategize and overtake him, with Spidey successful in removing Doom's gauntlets (he's had practice with Thanos). Ben can't crush them, so Reed takes them, and they lock Doom in the Raft from Civil War. The Future Foundation is saved.

Of course, this isn't Doom's final form. He has escaped by the mid-credits. And in the post-credits scene, we see Doom forging his iconic mask to hide his hideously deformed (small burn on the cheek) face.

Sorry for the novel. I really like Marvel.

Just make a great Fantastic Four movie, one that we deserve.

Spidey can team with them down the road when the next big threat arrives.

@marvel72 - I wouldn’t mind if he was in a mid credits scene but not in the movie proper.

I do wanna see Peter and Johnny together (maybe as classmates in college) first before teaming up as heores.

Could see Peter intern at the Baxter Building somehwere down the line and see the Future Foundation, but only after we've seen trilogies for both first

Much as I love Doom and the Surfer I think they’d be better off tackling another character for the first movie at least. A lot of people have suggested the Mole Man, if they can get the story right that would be great, failing that Namor maybe as it seems he’ll be introduced in BP2.

Why is reading so hard for everyone on this site? Nowhere did they suggest this to be the opening story, just something the upcoming reboot and beyond can be inspired by.
