Channing Tatum Talks GHOSTBUSTERS; Says He "Would Love To Do It"

After expressing his "not so good" feelings for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Channing Tatum talked Ghostbusters, and revealed that he'd love to star in that film, even though the franchise is a bit "crowded" as of now. Hit the jump to check it out!

It was rumored awhile back that Channing Tatum would be starring in the Russo brothers' Ghostbusters film, along with Jurassic World star Chris Pratt. While nothing was confirmed, Tatum, in a recent interview with Howard Stern, revealed that even though he feels as though that franchise is a bit messy, he'd love to star in a Ghostbusters film. "That thing's gotten messy, I've got to be honest. There's a lot of people doing a lot of things on Ghostbusters." He then continued, "Look, I would love to do it. Like I said, there's a lot of people in the pool right now, the Ghostbusters pool. I think we're in a gestation period right now."

After the franchise gets fully developed will we see Channing Tatum's name added to the franchise? No one know that answer except for Tatum himself, and I'm sure (after his comments yesterday), that he would not want to star in a film that would eventually turn into another G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. In other words, a film he'd hate in the future.

If Tatum would agree to sign on with the franchise, he'd most likely be obligated to make two films. One with him, Chris Pratt (maybe), and whoever else they decide to cast. And the second which would be a crossover film that will include Tatum's team, and the team from Paul Feig's film. Would you like to see Tatum in the Ghostbusters universe? Sound off below with your thoughts!

Well if Pratt's involved he'll mostly likely turn this into.

I never thought I could hate someone I've never met as much as I hate Channing Tatum. It kills me that he keeps getting casted in movies I would otherwise want to see. Guess I'll keep spending my money elsewhere.

Oh, I thought he was pitching a Ghostbusters/21 Jump Street/Men In Black crossover. Honestly, I really don't see how that could be any worse.
