First Look At Charlie Hunnam On The Set Of KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE
Production has officially commenced on Guy Ritchie's Arthurian adventure movie, Knights of The Round Table, and the Sherlock Holmes director has Tweeted an image from the set, giving us a look at Charlie Hunnam in costume as (the future) King Arthur Pendragon. Check it out...
Hunnam joins Eric Bana as Arthur's Father Uther, with Astrid Berges-Frisbey playing Guinevere, and Jude Law as the villainous Uncle. Idris Elba was at one time up for the "Merlin-esque figure who trains and mentors Arthur", but that part will now be played by Djimon Hounsou. The film is being envisioned as the first of a six-part saga, with Akiva Goldsman and Tory Tunnell producing, and Joby Harold (Awake, Edge Of Tomorrow) on script duty. Knights Of The Round Table: King Arthur is set for a July 22, 2016 release.
