Peter (Levi Miller) is a mischievous 12-year-old boy with an irrepressible rebellious streak, but in the bleak London orphanage where he has lived his whole life those qualities do not exactly fly. Then one incredible night, Peter is whisked away from the orphanage and spirited off to a fantastical world of pirates, warriors and fairies called Neverland. There, he finds amazing adventures and fights life-or-death battles while trying to uncover the secret of his mother, who left him at the orphanage so long ago, and his rightful place in this magical land. Teamed with the warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and a new friend named James Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Peter must defeat the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) to save Neverland and discover his true destiny—to become the hero who will forever be known as Peter Pan.

Looks like it's worth a drunken rental.

I haven't seen Hook in years so I have no idea if it holds up, but that movie was the bomb when I was kid. I doubt this will be able to top that.

That kid should've died instead of Rufio.

Hugh Jackman is pretty much done with Wolverine and he has a good rapport with Warner Bros. I think that DC and WB might just bring him into the DCEU. I would hope as a villain. Maybe Deathstroke!

Ya this Garret Hedllund guy is absolutely shit in the trailer. The line reads were terrible especially "You have to get us off this island." he seemed to be doing his best Shatner impression. The "Were sailing now line." wasn't much better. Also why is Jackman doing a Johnny Depp impression the entire time. I keep hearing Jack Sparrow ever time he talks.

@blackandyellow

I feel it still holds up Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman are amazing as Pan and Hook and they carry the movie past any faults in my opinion. Also ya Rufio was pretty awesome. Also Rufio went from this

to being Zuko in Avatar TLA

So he stayed awesome over the years.

Last Pan movie I can recall was the 2004 iteration with Jason Issacs as Cpt. Hook. Very underrated.

This looks...... interesting. I'd give it a shot, if just for the obvious insanity that is Jackmans performance as Blackbeard.

One thing I REALLY hope they don't do is change the way Hook lost his hand in order to make Peter look more heroic.

For those unaware, or have forgotten, Peter's the one who cut off Hooks hand, and not really for a huge reason either. It's referred to in the book as some sort of game, or silly childish prank.

Which, in that context you can kind of understand Hooks hatred of him. xD

Actually looks kinda cool, similar to say something like... The Sam Rami Oz film or Bryan Singers Jack the giant slayer movie or whatever. I'll check it out. I like to step outside a bit.

I really love Hugh Jackman, and I like Garrett Hedlund, but I think he's miscast here. Hopefully, this turns out good. It's WB, not Disney, so I can see them taking at least a couple more risks than the mouse house.

Imagine seeing Hook with that awful accent. Sounds like the Joker wanna be. *holds up Hook - lets put a smile on that face*
