Director Breck Eisner dropped the 3D announcement while plugging his new film 'The Crazies' that comes out tomorrow.

"This will definitely be a 3D movie. When it's the right kind of movie, you want to use the right kind of technology, so we intend to shoot it for 3D."

Eisner went on to say that the films story is in place and the screenplay is now being worked on!

Any Flash Gordon fans out there happy to hear this?
