I watched the movie yesterday. It's awesome, but I wish it was in 3D.

In all seriousness, though...those are some awesome concept art. Great find, nail.

I wish they kept Lady Jaye's hairstyle from the concept art.

The Storm Shadow concept costume looks cool and then they have that stupid one with the tails and normal trousers. Bleh.

Concept arts look much better than the actual costumes in the movie. Specially Lady Jaye, Flint (not the mohawk one), Storm Shadow and Roadblock

Digging the look of Cobra Commander. Is it just me or do the concept drawings for Roadblock look more like Terry Crews than The Rock?

@bcom77 - I was gonna say the same thing that really does look like Terry Crews.

The problem with concept art is that it may look good but when it comes to being made and the actor wearing it, it doesn't feel right. I can tell just from Storm Shadows concept art is that he would have trouble moving in it, he has padding and armour from the waist up that wouldn't help his movement in any way. The same could be said for Snake eyes costume change, the old one looked good but didn't help with movement.

@bcom77, your not the only one... Terry Crews was also up for the role so...

I want them to do a serious GI Joe film. One that has Nolan-esque tone. Really get gritty with Cobra and show their ruthless murderous side.

The concept art for Roadblock looks an awful lot like terry crews.

Does Channing Tatum die in this? I don't see him in anymore scenes after the initial scenes in the desert.

Agreed, the concept art for Roadblock looks a lot like Terry Crews. And ya know what, he'd have been a better pick for Roadblock. The Rock could have been someone else and still been the lead.

I like how none of the concept art looks like the actual character. More effort needs to be put into this.

Terry Crews could have been good as Roadblock and the Rock would have been better suited for a new take on Gung Ho or Dusty. I would hope in the holding off of bringing this movie to the public we might get to see the only two living GI Joe members, Refrigerator Perry and Sargent Slaughter.

they should change the title of this movie to "GI Joe: Does Channing Tatum Die?"
That seems to be what everyone cares about

The concept drawing of Roadblock looks more like Terry Crews than The Rock. Maybe he was in early consideration for that part but he ended up having a scheduling conflict with Old Spice, lol.

wearethewalkingdead9: I was joking. I mean, that "I wish it was in 3D," line. Get it? No? Ah, never mind.

Awesome stuff but the 3 wheel motorcycle is a little lame.
