Arrow 2x04 "Crucible" - Oliver (Stephen Amell) discovers a man who goes by the name "The Mayor" (guest star Cle Bennett) is bringing illegal guns in to The Glades, so Oliver sponsors a "Cash for Guns" event to help clean up the city. Unfortunately, The Mayor crashes the event with his gang and seriously injures Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus). The Canary (Caity Lotz) is furious when she learns her friend is in the hospital and sets out for revenge. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) stuns Oliver with a bit of information about the Canary, Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) asks Laurel (Katie Cassidy) to dinner, and Diggle (David Ramsey) reconnects with an old friend. I freaked the [frick] out when I saw the black hooded dude. And then when he mentioned Ra's, I literally bursted out with water with my mouth. I was WTF? This does mean they are tying it with DCCU? I mean they can't have two Ra's in film and television? If we are new Batman, then most likely we are getting a new Ra's. Boy oh boy! :D and suicide squad ARGUS and Waller! And Flash! Now CAST HAL JORDAN ALREADY GOD DAMMIT. JOHN STEWART TOO. Make him a friend of Diggle or something. Obviously pre-Lantern LOL. Watch episode finale will have Man of Steel's Zod message and then boom season 3 SUPERHEROES!

Also, 0:13 in this crucible promo.....is that Deathstroke in a newer, more proper mask, or is it the CW's version of the KGBeast? EITHER WAY I CAN'T WAIT A WEEK!!!!

Episode rocked, I'm a huge marvel fan but have to say sadly I like arrow better, I hope aos gets even better as it has been but sneeze arrow is killing it, I refuse to miss an episode

I also forgot to mention, that I hope Ollie adopts a mask after Canary. It literally does a great job of covering the face. Much easier for him. We'll maybe not for aim lol but for better protection of identity.

This show has been great but it does miss some opportunities.
Dark Archer could've been a brief mystery regarding his ID.
And Canary could've been a brief 3-4 episode mystery also. The element of surprise is missing from this show. Too often they let us know a bit too much in advance.

@Rokyn Maybe but we shouldn't have these Joel Schumacher spirit gum masks. Totally unrealistic cheesy crap on a Power Ranger level.
And the black eye paint under the mask thing got old 20 years ago.

Well how else can you do those masks from the comics?! You're crazy man if I can see blue red Captain America tight costume and be fine with it they what's the limit? Besides those masks weren't the problem in those films, there were way worse things. By judging those movies because they were stupid old fashioned domino "masks" is completely irrelevant. Masks are the way to go! Just ask Nightwing and Robin.

Who is the guy with the creepy mask at 0:13 on the preview? He looks like Scarecrow but I highly dobt they would have Scarecrow on this show.

This show is just way too awesome, the second season seems like it's about to blow the first one out of the water. When the assassin showed up at the end I literally shouted at the top of my lungs "Did he say Ra's Al Ghul!?", my family probably wondered what the hell was wrong with me lol. Can't wait to see Waller, ARGUS, Suicide Sqaud, Slade become Deathstroke, Ra's and the league, and of course The Flash. And I really really hope that was Scarecrow in that preview for the next episode.

@SUPERBATSPIDERMAN, ,why would you doubt they would have Scarecrow on the show, when they just said Ra's Al Ghul was part of it? And wouldn't Scarecrow be one of the easiest villains to translate on to TV? Mask. Check. Uses gas to make people afraid. Check. Thats it. Easy. No powers or crazy fight skills or nutty costume. simple.
