David Ramsey Says More 'Fisticuffs' In Store For Diggle In 'ARROW' Season 2

Discussing the upcoming second season of The CW's Arrow, executive producer Greg Berlanti shared, "We're bringing in a whole new set of [DC] characters for everyone to combat and capture and mess around with - all good fun." In talking about what's to come for his character Diggle, actor David Ramsey shared that, "Right off the top, just more fisticuffs. I mean it is an action show, more Diggle fighting and just as Greg says, there's a big tragedy we're coming out of and Oliver has to [come to] grasp with that. I think Diggle helps - he's kind of that rock, that center that he's kind of always been since the first season." Interestingly enough, breakout star Emily Bett Rickards teased that we're going to learn more about Felicity Smoak this season. Said Rickards, "We're going to see a little bit more of her backstory." Actor Colton Haynes once again reiterated that Season 2 is going to be Roy's gauntlet, his version of Oliver's time on the island which I'm excited to see. Katie Cassidy also teased that while Laurel did lose someone close to her in the season finale, there's going to be a lot of new developments for her character and that she'll become more involved in the criminal aspect of things." Hopefully, that's crime fighting and not law breaking!

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine."

Riddler? GTFO

Diggle rocks. One of the best characters on the show.

Glad they're introducing him into the comics.

I hope Diggle finally gets his revenge against Deadshot other than getting his ass kicked like he did when he fought Deadshot the first time around. That being said I don't want Deadshot to die because he is an awesome villain but maybe just severely beaten and sent to prison.

eh...these villains are too wonky and not developed enough. Enough of the family drama, create some real tension/drama between arrow and the villians! this show is boring, definitely marketed for ADD 12 year olds
