Green Arrow TV has learned that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood - who has previously been seen in the soap opera series Bold & The Beautiful - has been cast in The CW's pilot Arrow, based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. Wood will play Sarah Lance, the sister of Dinah Laurel Lance (who is played by Katie Cassidy), and will possibly have a small role in the pilot. Sarah Lance "is mostly involved in sequences taking place before the incident that left Oliver Queen on an island for several years."

In addition, composer Blake Neely - who has previously worked with Greg Berlanti on No Ordinary Family and Brothers & Sisters has revealed at WonderCon this month that he will score the pilot, which is directed by David Nutter (Smallville). The rest of the cast includes Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Susanna Thomspon as Moira Queen, Brian Markinson as Adam Hunt and Colin Salmon as Walter Steele. The pilot is written/executive produced by Andrew Kreisberg, Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim.

Arrow will begin airing on The CW this fall, should the network pick the pilot up.
