The CW's ARROW Reveals New Huntress Images

The CW has just released some new promotional images from Arrow episode 1x08 “Vendetta” which sees Arrow and Huntress working side-by-side. Continue on for a more encompassing look at Jessica De Gouw as Huntress.

ARROW AND THE HUNTRESS TEAM UP-
 As Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Helena (guest star Jessica De Gouw) grow closer, Oliver trains her to be his ally, complete with showing her how to use a crossbow. Diggle (David Ramsey) disapproves of Oliver sharing his secret with Helena as he’s not sure she can be trusted, but Oliver refuses to listen to his concerns. Helena’s quest for revenge proves to be too strong for Oliver to handle after she kills the head of the Triad and all hell breaks loose. Katie Cassidy, Colin Donnell, Willa Holland, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne also star. Ken Fink directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Andrew Kreisberg (#108).

no where near a marvelite but i still recon they should take a leaf from the marvel cinematic universe and evolve the suits as the series progress

I have not seen any episodes, but I am a huge fan of Helena Bertinelli/Wayne, lol. I think I will start watching this show online.

I wish Marc & Andrew would have stayed true to the look of The Huntress instead of going with Chris Nolan's Catwoman look. Overall, I'm still excited about the debut of The Huntress.

@comicle199 - I love the Marvel films that have been put out so far but I hate the fact that the costume are changing so much, Tony and Rhodey should be the only one who has so many costume change more so Tony then Rhodey.

I think the Thor costume they got now should be the one he keeps until the end or at least till he becomes king, if they wish to change Caps one then they can but they better make it a good change and stick to it. I don't see them go through so many costume changes in the comic so I don't think it should be happening so much in the movies. But hey that's just me.

@Comicle199 They may evolve them, but may happen over seasons rather than episodes.

Arrow is a good show, I'm digging it. The Huntress is one of my favorite heroines, should be fun to see how this pans out.

VERISIMILITUDE@ Well, you are in the vast minority with that opinion on the show. ;-)

I do wish Oliver wore a mask like what they gave her.

The last episode is the first one I was disappointed in. I think it is because they way they tried to bring across the Royal Flush Gang in the real sense ended up making them look pretty weak and pathetic, which is far from the case in the comic version.

I didn't like what they did with Royal Flush Gang, but other than that I like this show a lot. Verisimilitude is definitely in the minority. But he seems to think he knows what everybody wants an cares about so what do I know?

That costume looks better than I thought it would. I didn't know she was wearing a trench coat.

I thought they were going with the leather biker jacket look at first. I can't wait for this episode! Jessica De Gouw looks great!

I actually like green arrows makeup mask. It makes him look supernatural in that his eyes recede. It's like Green Arrow is a walking zombie of something. In still it looks kinda stupid but in action it really works.

With Huntress probably a lot more purple but hey I say this is all stuff I hope to review later on for season 2. At least we got a suits for these people now as opposed to waiting 10 years to see a far off shot of a poorly made cgi Superman model......

What I really don't get is how they can make costume adaptations for the big screen that works... Yet they try to stay away from that look for the small screen, when it's proven to work. What's with all this leather & trench coats etc? I want full costumes. Not tights, not spandex, but give me something that I can at least recognize

I could conjure up a better design than that, but this is still pretty decent. I'm very interested in this episode. I hope it explains her mob ties.

Real mask, make-up around the eyes. Neither of them are any good and real or comic world. Neither cover up the identity. So to say one is better than the other is pretty stupid and just want to find something to complain about the show. The hood does more to cover up his identity than a real domino mask would ever do. If the mask is not like Batman's or Deathstroke, then it is pretty useless at covering up identities.

The show is pretty good and I can't wait till we see more island stuff with Deathstroke and finally see what his mother has been up too.

I for one really don't give a shit about what's up with Green arrows mother and all there family issue's. I wanna see "GREEN ARROW" Fight crime and shit! I really couldn't care less if his sister is having a bad hair day or not!!! And you know, Oliver could at least wear a fake robinhood Mustashe and Gouttee or whatever. And I don't know......Maybe a FRAKIN MASK!!! We don't need to see the actor to know who it is!!!!
