I dont know what to think it doesnt look like a total seth rogen movie but it seems to have those elements

hopefully its an action adventure comedic movie

ive never seen the only tv show ive read some of the newer comics and there pretty good

i have hope

i dunno, jury is still out for me on this one. ill have to see more stuff to make up my mind. he seems a little more comedic than the usual green hornet, but if HAMM is right about his dad being the real green hornet then it makes sense if he is a little different.

@flames ok when a movie has had 5 release date delays and the studio itself wasnt giving it 100% praise, then you know its in trouble. 5 release date delays is never a good sign, and they replaced Kato in the middle of the movie as well as the villian, Nicolas Cage was suppose to be the villian and he walked off before they shot the movie.

Doesn't look that bad, but Seth's voice doesn't fit what I picture the Green Hornet sounding like. Maybe he changes it while in costume.

In any case, I thought the clip was okay.

Meh. Could be fun but its pretty much looking like an out and out comedy..which is fine, if, y'know, the Green Hornet was a comedic character. I personally don't mind too much because I'm not a fan, but this is definitely going to run the fans up the wrong way.

@teabag I agree, i dont see Rogen as a crimefighter, he is always that dorky douchebag guy in movies and he is literally the same character in every movie, very hard for him to be taken serious and it looks like he is spoofing Green Hornet instead of playing him

clay- they probably pushed it back because of the 3d, they had to get a new actor to play the villain and get a new kato never thought of that? and i don't give a shit about da studio only the movie

Yup, people get recast all the time, people turn down roles all the time, it has nothing to do with the quality of the film. And there are studios that ARE 100 percent behind their movie and the movie turns out to be shit.

@flames you need to read up, it was suppose to come out LAST Christmas, then this summer, then September, then this Christmas and now January, and they didnt announce the 3D till a few weeks ago which is that crappy post production 3D, not the Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, all the animated movie stuff that was meant for 3D

Kato was recast IN THE MIDDLE OF FILMING as in halfway through the film recast

@cap I saw this stuff a few weeks ago, nothing is new, it was the actual trailer to the movie.

@flames I dont see 3D films, I was forced to see Alice in 3D cause I had no choice but I see everything in regular 2D, 3D is A) a gimmick and B) it gives me a massive headache

Hmmm . . . Well, if history has shown anything, it is that studio bosses have their heads in their rectums. I don't care if they delayed release: it might suck or the dorks w/MBAs might not get it. I'll wait to see the preview before passing, still premature, judgment. I like comic books, super heroes, and seth rogen. Why wouldn't i like this? Not like anyone tags "Green Hornet" as an all time fav. Rather they screw with this and make a comedy than green lantern or green arrow.

I'm not all that familiar with the Green Hornet so a change in tone to a more comedic nature really doesnt bother me. The footage above looks great and I'm looking forward to having a look at the trailer. I'll need to see more before making a proper judgement but right now, this is yet another movie coming out in 2011 that I cant wait to see! :P
