BLACK PANTHER's Sterling K. Brown Is Ready To Join The DC Films Universe For GREEN LANTERN CORPS.

It's been less than a week since it was announced that actor Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us, Supernatural) would join the cast of Ryan Coogler's Black Panther as N'Jobu, a mysterious figure from T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) past. Now, it appears that the actor is ready to cross over into enemy territory, and join the DC Films Universe as Green Lantern John Stewart.

In the wake of the recent NEWS that David S. Goyer and Justin Rhodes would be penning the script for Green Lantern Corps., Brown took to his Twitter account to respond to a tweet that suggested that he should take on the role of Green Lantern John Stewart. The actor surprised fans when he agreed to the suggestion saying, "Dear powers that be, if you are looking for someone to play John Stewart, I humbly submit my name. Namaste #GreenLanternCorps."

This would not be the first time actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe or DC Films Universe have crossed over to take on multiple comic book movie roles. Actors such as Ayelet Zurer (Man of Steel, Daredevil), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Thor: The Dark World, Suicide Squad), and Callan Mulvey (Batman v Superman, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) are prime examples of this, and since we still don't know the extent of Brown's role in Black Panther, it's possible that his part could be limited to only the one film, which would free him up to take the Green Lantern oath.

What do you think about Sterling K. Brown potentially taking on the role of Green Lantern John Stewart?
