Thanks to a local sports anchor, we've discovered the latest filming location for Martin Campbell's Green Lantern in New Orleans, LA. Via his Twitter account, WDSU's Fletcher Mackel sent this update:





The WDSU 6 news studio is located at 846 Howard Avenue, New Orleans, LA‎. The local station is a subsidiary of NBC. If you happen to be in the area, try to stop by and catch a glimpse of the cast and crew.

I wonder how will Campbell shoot this film,I mean will it be all fast packed like Bond movies he did(which are two of my favorites) or something different...

@Multi: Yeah I would love to see that tone of film as Casino Royale,but the other Bond film I was thinking is GoldenEye.Campbell also directed that one.

I have been a member for only about a month or so. I am SO glad I found this page. I've been a huge fan of Green Lantern for many years and most of my comments mirror those which have posted on a daily basis. As with most of you, I want to know what is going on every step of the way - and I hope to get to New Orleans during the filming to make the experience of seeing the film all the more special. I do know people who live there. This page and MultiPurposePoni's expert coverage - along with everyone's comments - have been the perfect start to my pursuit.
