I'm not throwing stones here and hopefully Multi will share his thoughts on my find. Youtube has a fan made trailer up on their web site of the 'Green Lantern.' I thought hmm, could be cool. It was. This video looks nice and Martin better be careful not to have Jaron Pitts out due him with a mere trailer.

The thing is, there is a shot of Kilowog a minute and thirty one seconds into the FAN MADE trailer that looks identical to the photos Multi is saying are official. I now have my doubts these are indeed official production photos from Martin Campbell and the 'Green Lantern' movie crew. If they are why then are they used in a FAN MADE trailer?



So what's what? Facts are facts. We have seen nothing OFFICIAL from the Green Lantern production crew or Martin Campbell. Hopefully he takes a page from the pics that Multi reported on and the above fan made trailer. Like I said hopefully. I believe that the pics are not official but have been used in Jaron's fan made 'Green Lantern' trailer. Which by the way look great and hopefully are used at least for ideas in the upcoming full length feature film 'Green Lantern' starring Ryan Reynolds and directed by Martin Campbell.

But on the other hand Multi's pics could very well be official and we could all be looking at the next best thing. Don't you love ComicBookMovie.com? No other place on the net like it!



'Green Lantern' is due to fly into theaters June 17, 2011.

Yeah i'm confused, most of the stuff looked incredible and totally original, but I saw a lot of images from Star Trek, Fantastic Four 2, Galaxy Quest, Day The Earth Stood Still etc.

sorry J they r right..this trailer is pretty old and was put on here awhile back be4 reynalds was even cast...as 4 the pics being the same....i vote no...but i'll leave that 1 up 2 multi...
sweet trailer none the less...saw sum chronicles of riddeick in there that i hadnt noticed be4!

if u get to 2:04 and compare that 2 multi's pics...they r cleary completley different!...gotta look at the details my friend!

I know the trailer is old guys, just making an interesting comparison to this old trailer and the new pics. Look at the suits they are identical? Nothing is official anyway unless it comes from the studio. And NOTHING HAS!

i agree mutantX that last shot of kilowog is not looking like multi's pic, but the shot at 131 does, and there suits match up. Thats what got me to raise my eyebrow anyway.

tea and XmutantX is right, man I saw this and was like whoa thats seriously close almost to close. The other part that got is that nothing has been officially released from the studio, I hope multis pics are legit and being used cuz I likes em. But we just have to wait untill the studio says whats what.

Other than the black and green, i don't see much resemblance. Especially with the aliens. Tomar Re and Kilowog look alot more like their comic portrayal in this than on the concept art for the film. And since Abin Sur's only destinctive characteristic is his skin color, he's the only one with a slight resemblance.

But this trailer as well as the Thundercats fanmade trailer are HANDS DOWN the very best in fanmade trailers!!!

I mean they have Nathan Fillon in the trailer. Its not even ryan reynolds.

This was back when Fillon had been a contender for the role.

@XmutantX: Dude, Im glad you took our advice and went to see AVATAR in 3D. It was EPIC! I think the next film we are going to review is 'The Wolfman', do you guys think we should review anything currently out now?

gtrman: I know its old, I was just making a comparison, thats all, especially since nothing is confirmed. But I know its old from a year ago, I knew that when I posted it, aaaahhhhh;;LOL :P
The interesting thing about CONCEPT art, is: is its just that, Concept, it will change, I just thought the suits looked eearily identical(thats why I posted it today to compare it to what Multi posted yesterday, thats it, no other big secret, but there are minor differences, the color scheme is spot on thats for sure but the layout of the suits are different.

Jman-I like where your head is at. All of you editors seem to be on the investigative journalism trail right now. Its great.

Looking closely at the 2 images, there are too many differences. Tea named most and I would add the neck to shoulder muscles are different between the two.

XmutantX- I actually hated those two fanmade trailers. The acting was really sub par. I get the fact that their fanmade and all but i prefer "composite" fanmades than "fan acted" ones. To each's own. And yeah, VIN is the PERFECT Panthro. You can't take that one away from him ;)
