Hal Jordan is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Her name was Michelle. She knew the real Grif. Not the Grif we see; a different Grif. One with a kind heart, and loving spirit. They truly loved each other. But as they were walking back to their car, a group of thugs surrounded them in the parking lot. They mercilessly beat Michelle until she was within an inch of her life. They let vicious dogs maul Grif, until he begged for death. They then held him down and forced him to watch as Michelle's precious life slowly drifted into the unforgiving darkness. They stole everything she had in her purse, and left. Leaving Grif alone for hours trying to revive his beloved Michelle. At long last he had to let go, leaving her on the cold asphalt. To this day, Grif has never been the same lovable bear he once was. But you have to understand, he lost everything in one moment...

i always like RR as an actor and thought he alot of his movies were good and i never really understood why people hated him as GL but seeing him in action i perfectly understand why now. His looks, way he acts, and his persona don't match up the what the gl is really suppose to act like. i honestly think in an alternate universe James Marsden would not be a bad choice...way better than RR in my book James Marsden Pictures, Images and Photos
