Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is just a few short weeks away from arriving in theaters and, while we're definitely excited, it's hard not to be a little trepidatious when there's a good chance not every member of the team will survive.
Filmmaker James Gunn has strongly hinted that will be the case, while there's at least one cast member who has repeatedly said he's done with the MCU after this movie. We're sure you know who we're referring to, but for those of you who haven't been keeping track, they'll remain nameless for now.
Before we potentially bid farewell to this iteration of the Guardians, we can celebrate them with a new gallery of promo art that showcases each member of the team...and Cosmo the Spacedog!
Maria Bakalova plays that character in the threequel and stands a good chance of stealing the show if what we saw in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special was any indication. This is likely to be Rocket's movie for the most part, though.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.
Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.
