RESULTS: Here's How You, ComicBookMovie.com's Readers, Rated GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 just had an awesome second weekend at the box office, but shortly after the movie opened, we asked you, ComicBookMovie.com's readers, to rate it. Well, the results are in...

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ended both the trilogy and James Gunn's time as part of the MCU. It was an emotional, epic movie that saw the filmmaker leave his Marvel Studios family in style before taking charge of DC Studios for Warner Bros. on a full-time basis.

Superman: Legacy is up next for Gunn, and while the cast of that 2025 reboot appears to be taking shape, the spotlight is still very much on this threequel.

When the blockbuster - which has grossed more than Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania's entire box office run in a single week - arrived in theaters earlier this month, we asked you to chime in and share your rating. Thousands of you cast your votes in our poll, and the results are finally here!

A whopping 58.72% of you awarded Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 an awesome ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, with 28.32% choosing a near-perfect ⭐⭐⭐⭐.

From there, a mere 8.03% of ComicBookMovie.com readers went with ⭐⭐⭐, while these results wrap up with just 2.59% going with ⭐ and 2.33% casting a vote for ⭐⭐.

"As heart-wrenching as it is hilarious," we said in our review earlier this month, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is James Gunn’s masterstroke and a showcase for both his filmmaking talent and a cast that makes everything about this movie simply awesome. An absolute triumph."

While Gunn's time as part of the MCU (and this franchise) has ended, we're sure Marvel Studios will eventually revisit the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Vol. 4 isn't going to happen, but a fresh start with Rocket Raccoon front and centre would be welcomed...we don't envy whoever has to follow Gunn's epic trilogy, though!

How many times have you watched Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 since it hit the big screen?

Saw it for the second time yesterday : less stress, as much emotion as the 1st viewing. I also enjoyed Warlock much more, the joob-joob stuff not so much. Near perfect indeed.

I gave it 1 star for the trailer haven't seen the movie yet,so why would I give it 5 stars.

I think it will be more likely a 3 star movie.

@marvel72 - You gave it 1-star and haven't even seen the movie yet?...

Your question should be, "I haven't seen the movie yet so why should I rate it at all yet?"

@Tonic24k - I rated it from trailers and would give it 3 after the poll and after seeing all the clips they've shown on YouTube.

Is that OK?

@marvel72 - Well no. You rate a movie once you see it. Trailers and YouTube clips do not at all provide what the movie itself does.
