HELLBOY Reboot Unveils Our First Official Look At STRANGER THINGS' David Harbour As The Horned Hero

The official Twitter account for Neil Marshall's upcoming Hellboy reboot is now live, and they've marked the occasion by sharing our first look at Stranger Things actor David Harbor as the demonic hero...

The first official image of David Harbor as the titular horned hero from Neil Marshall's Hellboy reboot has been released, and it's fair to say he looks like he's jumped right out of the pages of Mike Mignola's comic books.

He does resemble Ron Perlman's previous incarnation of the character, but there's probably not a whole lot that can be done about that as he too was a fairly comic-accurate depiction.

At any rate, what do you guys think? Let us know in the usual place.

Hellboy stars Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Milla Jovovich as the villainous Blood Queen, and Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio. The reboot is scheduled to begin shooting this month to meet an unspecified 2018 release date.

Holy f*ck he looks awesome. At the same time, I have to wonder, couldn't they just have made Hellboy 3? I mean, he looks a lot like Perlman with all that makeup.

@Spidey91 - Perlman and Del Toro weren't the reason the movie didn't get made. blame that on the sudio not wanting to give Del Toro his budget.

@LEVITIKUZ - The only thing I'm sorta upset with is since this is a new Hellboy, would've liked it if he wore a BPRD shirt so people don't think it's a sequel to the Del Toro films

@LEVITIKUZ - Ditto, I'd love a more grounded look to fit the tone, but they're probably just going for recognizability at this point.

@LEVITIKUZ - This pic is certainly to show off the design. They wouldn't cover it with a shirt. Maybe @Spooks is right.

QUITE similar to Ron's Hellboy... I wonder if they'll go with humanish legs style again or dare to a goat style as it should....
