Despite it seemingly heading towards a debut of between $20 million - $25 million, a paltry £6.3 million on Friday means that it will more than likely finish at only $16M. The film cost $68M to make, so its success may play a big role in whether or not rival studio Lionsgate decide to continue working on Seth Grahame-Smith's (who wrote the film and novel it is based on)
