Sony Pictures and director Jason Reitman have rounded out the cast of their new
Ghostbusters movie with a pair of young up-and-coming actors.
According to
Variety, Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim have signed on to star in key roles, although no details on their characters were provided. They'll join Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace in the film, which is being envisioned as a follow-up to the original movies.
Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd
are also expected to reprise their roles, but that hasn't been confirmed.
“Celeste and Logan are rare talents and we’re all grateful that they’ll be lending their unique voices to ‘GB20,'” Reitman said in a statement.
This will mark Kim's first major movie role, but O'Connor has appeared in Sundance fave
Selah and the Spades, Netflix's
Irreplaceable You and indie flick
Wetlands.
