It's a good poster, but it's the wrong concept for the book it's based on.

Anybody else thinks that The Walking Dead is gonna hurt this movie? I hope not, the show is great, and this movie should be good.

the movie looks entertaining (though it doesn't look much like a zombie film) but this poster is cool

The CGI for the horde of zombies looked horrible in the trailer. Hopefully they fix that.

The idea of zombies being capable of doing things that no living human can do is just ridiculous.

I dont wanna judge but the approace they went with the Zombies feel weird. The poster is cool thou.
Zombies moving like a waves just doesnt feel right.

Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later are good examples of decent Zombies.

@WildDaniel The Walking Dead could have aided this movie, if it based itself on the actual book. In the World War Z book the zombies are slow. Instead they go with CGI-fest running zombies.

28 Days later styling still doesn't explain how they operate in prehensile waves that can magically stack cars up on top of each other to assault a helicopter. I've put off reading the book to not ruin the movie--but it seems like that movie is going to ruin the movie.

ANYBODY that read the book KNOWS that this movie looks like a large, steaming, worm-filled mass of $#!t.

the best image of the book was of the slow, silent, never-ending horde of corpses.

they weren't fast.

they weren't noisy.

they just never stopped coming. and every person that fell in battle simply added to their ranks.

brad pitt is smoking a big old turd with this movie, unfortunately.

the book was amazing.

so sad.

The alternate poster looks the better version, not really fund of the fast moving zombies.

Never read the book before but if there not fast in the books then they shouldn't change them in the movie.
Wish directors would keep to their origins, its why movies like doom/resident evil failed, why I think the evil dead reboot is going to suck.

Ok maybe they should changed stuff like the walking dead on the tv series to avoid it getting banned due to some scenes that might have been allowed on tv but at least they tried to not change too much as far as I'm aware (didn't read them either but did some googling).

Personally I think the Doom movie should have this made zombies on mars but without the running since I really believe zombies shouldn't run except maybe in rare occassions like left 4 dead and not like resident evil where they now run, shoot which ruins the foundation of what a proper should be and none of this stupid zombie leaping nonsense.

They need to stop with this generic action crap, make the viewers watch the people struggle to cope with the zombie outbreak, not some bullshit crap like paul/milla do to the abominated resident evil movies.

They need to go back to basic's like 'shaun of the dead' when the zombies broke through the windows in the pub when they 'thought' they were safe.

This movie is going to be garbage. Absolutely nothing like the book, and the freaking tagline is "A race against time". Bite me. This movie is a disgrace to the brilliance that is World War Z. Guys, read the book. It'll change your view on zombies.

As much as i liked the book, it got pretty redundant (maybe even boring) by the end. It was REALLY good in the first two thirds of the book but it teetered off by the end. I think it looks pretty cool.
Worth a watch, as long as they incorporate the individual stories from the book
