WEREWOLF BY NIGHT Is Now Streaming On Disney+ - Check Out A Chilling New Poster

Marvel Studios' first Halloween Special, Werewolf By Night, is now streaming on Disney+, and director Michael Giacchino has debuted an awesome new poster featuring Jack Russell in his lycanthrope form.

Appropriately enough, Werewolf By Night hit Disney+ at the stroke of midnight, and subscribers can now experience Marvel Studios' first Halloween Special in all its gory, monochrome glory.

Director Michael Giacchino took to Twitter shortly before the premiere to announce that the Special Presentation's soundtrack is also available on Spotify, Amazon, and most other music services, debuting a suitably spooky new poster in the process.

Though he's still obscured by shadow, the artwork gives us arguably our best look yet at Jack Russell in his lycanthrope form.

Though the 52-minute episode is expected to be completely standalone, Giacchino recently hinted that the studio is planning more "one-and done stories" in this Special Presentation format. Which characters these other specials will focus on remains to be seen, but there's a good chance Kevin Feige and co. are planning to use them as an opportunity to introduce or expand on previously unexplored corners of the MCU.

Have you guys had a chance to watch Werewolf By Night yet? If so, what did you think? Be sure to drop us a comment in the usual spot.

If they make their presentations into 65minute long ones I'd be much more inclined to say they should be counted as "direct to D+ movies" than specials.

Absolutely loved it!
Everything just really worked for me, from the runtime to the black & white.
Definitely the best Disney + Marvel content yet.

That was damn good. I am excited for Marvel to do more of these special presentations with lesser-known characters.

I'm hoping we get a color version. Not that I didn't like the B&W, but once it actually turns to color, you can see some nice details on Man-Thing and Elsa's jacket really pops.

OFF TOPIC but Marvel Studios.

MY THOUGHTS Daredevil: Born Again.

That series will run for a whopping 18 episodes I started getting bored with 6 and 9 episodes. Even with WandaVision and Loki 9 episodes I was starting to get bored wanted it to wrap up. 18 episodes going to be slog even for Daredevil.

@DoubleD - It will depend on the story. A single arc could be tiring, let's hope it's not the case

Amazing stuff. I will re-watch this again. Man, this kept me at edge of my seat. The build-up to finale was chef's kiss.

Also Ted, he was awesome along with Jack and Elsa... All the support cast were amazing for the brief time they were in..

Action was also neatly done. Make-up, practical sets were all movie quality. Have to talk about kills without being spoilt... Marvel just found a way present monsters which are scary, filled with gore but still stay in PG13 realm... I liked that approach..

Hope they will come up with more specials with same quality.

Other day in @rormachine review, he said it is most self contained show and do not expect any special cameos from other established MCU heroes is right advise to get into this show.

5* rating for the show.

@MochaKing - It actually received an MA 15+ rating here in Australia, where every Marvel Studios project before it has received either an M or a PG.

For comparison:
G = G
PG = PG
M 15 (recommended) = PG 13
MA 15 (restricted) = R 17
R 18 (restricted) = NC 17

I think the problem in the US is that your TV classifications go from TV14 (PG13/M15) to TVMA(NC17/R18). Where I think with the level of violence in this feature it should really be somewhere between those two.

Now get the hell back to 1933 for a B&W standalone Spider-Man Noir. Just do it.

Actually, my only complaint about Spider-Man Noir is that I wish he wasn't Peter Parker. Like Miguel O'Hara, I dig the idea of alternate timeline Spider-Men that are actually different dudes with their own story. It's a personal preference or even pet peeve, I guess.
