@#$!-ing BRILLIANT! At least McFarlane nailed this one out of the park (unlike his last two 'Star Wars' POS attempts...)!

will this show just please end already. It has no humor, its just the same insert annoying sight gag. Real comedy is subtle and well timed. The series in the first 3 seasons were like the Zucker Brothers style of comedy, but now its as bad as those Friedberg and Seltzer........South Park nailed FG's annoying and wasted talent. Check out the Cartoon Wars commentary, both Simpsons and King of the Hill staff members sent Trey and Matt messages, THANKING THEM FOR GOING ON THE OFFENSE, with a show they all despise. FOX is whoring out Seth, he seems like cool guy and could do SO MUCH BETTER, but hindering himself on this dead show

Comic critic, "real" comedy is whatever makes you laugh, there is no definition. Family Guy may have dipped in quality but it's still funnier than The Simpsons is now and than American Dad ever was. I love South Park, but I heard what Stone and Parker had to say about this show and they came across as hypocritical, smug assholes. They need to get the [frick] off their high horse and think back to some episodes of South Park they did. Because I sure as Hell don't remember much subtlety or genius high brow humor watching Kyle Bravlovski draw all over his bathroom wall with his own shit.

@Ror....alright that may be true, but I find that Family is trying to hard to get those laughs, I understand appealing to a certain crowd, but theres also insulting peoples intelligence. They use the same insert throwaway joke and they show you the joke, rather than letting the person figure out why thats funny. Seth thinks his fans are that stupid, so he shows them the thing, thats what I hate when it comes to comedy. Also Trey and Matt said the show has potential but the writers aren't putting any effort into it. The writers made Meg into a punching bag, yeah lets mock and torture a normal girl, that won't affect viewers. Stewie was funny in the beginning as a evil scientist like character, but now he is an effeminate little singer and dancer. I agree with one of the Simpson's writers, Seth made 1 show, 3 times...they are all the same. I was hoping Cleveland was gonna be different, but no....it's got a fat son, average looking daughter, annoying talking baby, and a smoking hot wife. Even College Humor made fun of them and thats a funnier version of Family Guy.

also...whats this deal about SHH? why are they on the offensive with this site?

I agree that Family Guy is not as funny as it was at one time, but they do still come up with some clever bits like this that I enjoy. An upside to doing a parody of the Incredible Hulk's opening might lead younger people to discover that classic show, which I still regard as the best live-action comic book series ever.

ComicCritic: I agree about the repetitiveness of Seth's shows. They all follow the same formula, but of the three, only the Family Guy can actually be funny. I just wish Fox had shown the same respect to Futurama they do with Seth's shows, leaving them in one timeslot where they can build an audience. Futurama was far funnier than American Dad or the Cleveland Show.
