That'll be a no, then.

Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. From the co-writer of the hit supernatural saga, UNDERWORLD, comes the action thriller I, FRANKENSTEIN, written for the screen and directed by Stuart Beattie based on the graphic novel "I, Frankenstein" by Kevin Grevioux, and brought to life by a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein.

I, Frankenstein opens in theaters on January 24, 2014.

Aaron Eckhart is great, and I'm glad Yvonne is finally getting some big screen time...but, I don't have a good vibe about this movie, I hope I'm wrong.

I dig it. Frankenstein has always be one of my favorite movie monsters, and coupled with the Van Helsing tone mixed with the Underworld feel, It's certainly a film I'll watch.

This is what would happen if Underworld and Van Helsing had a baby. I'll wait for the BluRay release.

Did Michael Bay direct this? Or is someone trying to emulate him.

Nothing like original comic book... very bad trailer for fail-movie... He even hasn't a long scar on forehead! And awfull PG-13... Nothing to watch there. And the comic book is really great, it not deserves this crap movie version...

Has kind of a Van Helsing vibe, but not really. I'm not sure why they didn't gross him up a little more. Probably for some lame romance angle where they didn't think audiences would buy Strahovski kissing a mangled mess. I've heard rumors this is a trainwreck, but I'm rooting for Eckhart.

I think it looks visually spectacular, but did they actually say WHY the demon/gargoyles were attacking or why the needed him?

It doesn't look bad but I just don't feel like it will be good. Something about it seems uninspired.

AquamanEatsSeafood

But since he's Dr. Frankenstein's son (so to speak), wouldn't his surname be Frankenstein as well? So, calling him by said name would still be accurate.

Holy shit that looks bad. Granted I watched it with the sound off, I could only last a little more than a minute. Visually boring with shiatty CGI and looks derivative. I hope Eckhart got a payday for this. January opening? You better believe it!

It's a movie base on a comic book that's loosely based on the Frankenstein concept and story.

I'm tired of the shitty CGI comment that every returd spew out. I bet they loved the first star wars trilogy that had shitty claymation and film overlapping. Just trolls, I bet they have no ideal how much time or talent it takes to produce just 5 minutes of CGI work.
