I, Frankenstein is having a disastrous debut. It was expected to have an $11 to $14 million opening weekend, but it appears the film will fall short of even those low estimates, with $7.75 million. The film is now destined to join
47 Ronin as the latest film to flop in 2014. The budget is estimated to be around $60 million, and that is not including marketing costs. There is a bit of good news, audiences gave the film about Frankenstein's monsters battling gargoyles and demons a B Cinemascore. Better than what Martin Scorsese's
Wolf of Wall Street (C) and Spike Jonze's
Her (B-) received. Scary!

Ride Along, which stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, will pull in $20.5 million this weekend, taking first place in consecutive weekends. It experienced a 51% from last weekend, and now has earned an impressive $74.8 million.
Lone Survivor is also doing well at the box office, with a solid $12.2 million. That put the military film in second place in it's fifth weekend.
