In light of Marvel’s The Avengers winning Best Fight, Best Villain and Movie of The Year at tonight’s MTV Movie Awards, Latino Review’s El Mayimbe has dropped another scoop about Marvel Studios’ first follow-up to superhero assembly: Iron Man 3. According to sources who attended the Shane Black-directed actioner’s premiere in Paris today, the post-credits stringer of Iron Man 3 involves:

REMOVED AT DISNEY'S REQUEST

While previously rumored descriptions of the Iron Man 3 post-credits sequence revealed ties to the Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy films, the scene described above just may be one of two. You may recall last year that the Mad Titan Thanos cameoed in the mid-credits stinger of The Avengers before Earth’s Mightiest Heroes were seen chowing down Shawarma. Anyhow, what do you think?

Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Marvel Studios will also release “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; the sequel to “Marvel's The Avengers” on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

When Banner says " I'm not that kind of Doctor" Mr. Spock got it wrong, The Doctor is now confirmed for the Avengers 2.

Calling it.

Two thoughts

1. Its good to have Ruffalo in a scene(Need Renner) to keep fans interested in the characters.

2. There has to be two post-credit scenes. I would be shocked if Marvel was not building towards another film. Since the movie is around Christmas I have to imagine a scene where a scene exists from Thor: TDW where the people are running and Malekith is shown and all is seen is the back of Thor(lowering Mjonir)

If that's true I hope it's not the only after credits one, and the other should be ant-man.

Didn't Kevin Feige say that he wouldn't want to be in the theater when people stay after for the credits? So I'm guessing either there is no scene, or he's throwing us off.

Im just hoping the guardians of the galaxy after credits with tonys space suit is true. The banner talk can be somewhere in the beginning or middle of the movie, I don't really care for it. Doesn't anyone else think dr.strange might be a bit too early?
