SuperHeroHype.com has just released a new IMAX poster for Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2; which is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release over the next few weeks. The poster highlights Tony Stark's Mark V 'briefcase' armor, which was used during a racetrack battle scene between Iron Man and Whiplash:

i'm just kind of upset that they're passing the suitcase armor off as his Silver Centurian armor. i would have liked a movie where the Silver Centurian armor is his main armor.

grif@ it's supposed to be a shout out to the silver and red armor Iron Man once wore. i believe it was called "silver centurion" - i could be thinking of a different silver and red suit tho.

EDIT: oh i see CDB called the the centurion armor also. so there ya go. but i disagree CDB! they shouldn't waste a whole movie with that armor. it FEELS more like iron man when it's red and gold. but this silver and red is a nice additional touch i must say! let's us know how smart Favs really is, as if we didn't already know!

Does anyone still seriously think Whiplash is going to stay like that throughout the movie?

That's the stuff he comes up with on his own - and THEN he meets Justin Hammer. Think about it.

Thankyou KeithM! I heard enough of people saying his suit looks pap, thats clearly his 1st suit - then he's gunna be in a proper one (Hammer prototype). Its the only thing they've been able to keep a secret. That and the ending cameo(s).

I'm hope they've been able to keep at least something like that under wraps - I feel like I've already seen 90% of the movie with all these previews/footage. The marketing budget for this film seems to more than most films get in total!
