Well, in a straightforward fight, duh, supes. But give Tony knowledge of and access to kryptonite and some prep time, yeah Supes could go down hard. God, I feel geeky. Time to go wash off the congealed geek residue that has accumulated from answering that.

If Tony uses the Hulkbuster armor and has some kryptonite: Tony. If Clark shreds his armor: Superman. What about Superman vs. the Hulk? Who'd win that one? The Hulk wouldn't use kryptonite.

unless stark as kryptonite he will be destroyed. i always loved the question of batman vs superman. we all know bats would never enter a fight with supes unless he had kryptonite, i always believed bats would win for the simple fact he is always prepared fo everything. mind over matter baby.

look how many people have used kryptonite on superman over the years, sure it stops him for awhile but it just makes him angry plus lex is about as clever as tony and also has his own suit it doesnt do him any good superman would destroy him, we've seen in marvel/dc crossovers that thor and the hulk got there asses handed to em by supes no way iron man would stand a chance

I know, right??? Supes would pull his arms out of IM's sockets and beat him with them! He's too fast, invulnerable, and with too many abilities!

Furthermore, everyone underestimates Kal-El/Clark's/Superman's intellect. He's an investigative reporter with a major paper and has battle-hardened experience. Not just a rube from a po-dunk town. MSN, you're officially STUPID!

ummm Tony wouldn't even need his suit if he had a kryptonite ring or sunglasses or a krytonite flask for that matter, superman would get all weak and cry then Tony would beat the hell out of superman, or pay someone to do it for him...

As one guy mentioned, Superman is faster, stronger, much more invulnerable, and has many powers. I think he'd tear Iron Man to shreds.

But then again, the use of kryptonite in these "vs. Superman" battles is always another situation

Th...they're kidding, right? Iron Man could only win if he has kryptonite on him. And that really only gives him a chance. Otherwise, I don't really see him winning.

And if for one moment Superman thinks that Iron Man is just a typical robot that Luthor sent after him and doesn't have a human inside? Stark's gonna be shredded into small pieces. And then when blood spews all over the place, Superman is gonna have one of those "Oh, shit..." moments.

@keven yeah i read that crossover its cool but theres another crossover and its superman against thor, supes just wipes the floor with thor and picks up his hammer which was cool and proves just how strong he is
