Oh, man, this is from Airborne! This movie cannot fail with an incredibly bad-ass song like this. If it does, well...

I listened to Airborne's "Born to Kill" about three times. [frick]ing goosebumps all over. Once again, I'll weep if this movie fails.

@Dynamo, yeah really man. Why oh why do they have to mess it up so bad?
Here's hoping that it's still decent. Even though it probably won't be.

@Draximos, Here was their chance to make a really gritty, story driven western. They turned it into Wild Wild West meeets Ghost Rider.

Looks like it is gonna be a fun movie. I know they changed the back story and that Hex never had these supernatural powers but I never read Jonah Hex anyway. I just wasn't into comics based on the Old West, but I will go to see this movie. I go to all the CBMs just to support the Genre.... And maybe see Megan Fox's rack!

The true fans of Jonah Hex will see it anyway Hell If Roseanne Barr had the female lead I'd still go see it .... It's JONAH HEX, woe to the non believers!!!!!!!!!

@georgia
I'm sorry when did Jonah hex have the power to tocuh people and bring them back from the dead? And cough up crows? It's Jonah hex in name only. It has all the over the top weapons from Wild Wild West and all the cheesy demonology of Ghost Rider.
And since when did Turnbull scar Hex's face? And he never had a family to murder. They cut the entrie Native American back story. Instead they turned him into Cowboy Punisher.

First off he can't bring them back from the dead he can only talk to them I'm not happy about it but can live with it as for demonology don't see that in the film however if they added El Diablo I can understand since that's the only time Jonah encountered supernatural stuff Turnball never scarred his face or a family to murder in the comics not happy about that either as for a cowboy punisher don't make me laugh Hex was around before Punisher if at all Marvel took aspects of Jonah Hex and made the Punisher .....
As for the so called wild wild west connection it's not there all the weapons Hex uses are plausable for that time period as in wild wild west they went beyond plausability giant mechanical spider even the fact that they made Dr. Loveless half a man in a steam chair and have mechanical spider legs none of this crap is in Jonah Hex .

Im not saying the character is a copy of the Punisher i'm saying this film makes him out to be. A "you killed my family plot" is way to cliched for a character like Hex. The Civil War revenge plot is much more substantial.
I think that being a Jonah Hex fan you're so excited that he made to the silverscreen and haven't thought about if they did any justice to the character. I mean honestly what did they leave of the character? A cowboy hat and a scarred face. I mean honestly even Brolin hated the script at first but then said he grew to like it cuz of its tongue in cheek nature. Which ofcourse means they dumped a load of money onto his porch.

Brolin took a paycut as did others to do this film with a modest budget so that doesn't hold water with me . yes they twisted his origin which for me as a fan really sucks Jonah always had a twisted sense of humor in the comic books so a little tounge in cheek diologe doesn't bother me as much as the twist on the origin does. and from what I've seen in the trailer he's still a mean SOB .
