I recently got my issue of Empire, and it featured all new Judge Dredd remake/adaption photos. Please note these images are taken on an iPhone, so therefore are not the best quality.















Judge Dredd will hit theaters on September 21st, 2012.

nice it looks good but it really needs to start creating more of buzz or its going to be forgotten easily. Its surprising that they didn't bring this comic con, would have been the perfect place to start to some kinda buzz, let the world know that this movie is still happening.

It's 14 months away so they don't need to hype it too much. Next Comic Con in 2012 they'll have to hype it big time or yeah, people won't know much about it.

Just to add, I almost forgot..

Urban's chin is way too small for Dredd. He doesn't look the part to me although he may be cool acting the part. But I think his chin is bit of a negative .

great find catwoman! I grew up reading the 2000ad comics. Loved the dredd stories and chopper and rogue trooper to name a few. Looking forward to see a better film than that godawful sylvester/rob sneider buddy buddy film.

Oh and Urban looks more than spot on...he looks Dredd!!! and I dont mind the giant eagle missing on the right shoulder so much....practical updates to costumes/uniforms should always be made when adapting any comic medium to film!!!

I might add that the size of the helmet is growing on me...I mean its suppose to be for protection not to make Dredd look pretty!!!

Looks bad ass enough! Still kinda disappointed about the villain choice but it will do i guess!

The chin wasnt that big in the original comic.

This film is going to be really good. For those people who are not looking forward to this film, I can only assume that you are basing that opinion of the character from the Stallone film and not the source material. Dredd is a great character and has had some really good, dark, violent storylines with a rich and varied supporting cast of characters. I really hope this opens up the possibility for more 2000ad characters being brought to the big screen. Slaine ( would make Conan look like an episode of the Teletubbies ), ABC Warriors and Nemesis, Rogue Trooper and Strontium Dog would all make quality films.
