"When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for The Flash and his family, the ripples of the event prove disastrous as a fractured, alternate reality now exists where a Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Teaming with a grittier, more violent Dark Knight and Cyborg, Flash races to restore the continuity of his original timeline while this new world is ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman's Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans. With breath taking action and an all-star voice cast, it's a bold, emotional vision that will forever change the landscape of the DC Universe."

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox will be released on dvd, blu-ray and other home video platforms on July 30, 2013. It premieres at San Diego Comic-Con tonight from 7:30-9:30pm in Ballroom 20.

DC is on another level than Marvel with the Animated Films. This looks fantastic!!!! Now if only they could get these guys on live action!!

Looking forward to this.

Will it reboot the animated movie universe to the New 52?

Seriously why don't they take the guys that write the scripts for the animated movies and put them in charge of the live action films???

Pretty sure we wouldn't get a fart cloud of skulls that way....

Saw this (some how), and this was freaking excellent! This just shows how bad ass The Flash is and how he deserves a movie. The end got me a little chocked up I must say. Very nice moment. 9/10.

@Panther

I know they aren't doing animated films. They were but they weren't anywhere near as good. I have most of them. I would love more Marvel animated films. They can do things that they can't do on the big screen because of rights issues.

My perfect world... DC takes tips from Marvel Studios on live action and Marvel takes tips from DC on animated features.

THAT would be Geek Heaven

I would forfeit all of DC animated features for the future if I could get some commitment to their live action features.

The movie was spectacular. From the voice acting to the fight scenes are top notch. I even enjoyed the rouges and would like for them to come up with an animated movie based on them and flash by themselves. These animated movies from DC are getting more violent with each iteration. If you are so weak at the violence in the movies you do not need to watch. That ending brought me to tears also. Great ending and great movie.

Love most DC animated films.
Can't really say that about Marvel animated films, but I really loved The Next Avengers though.

This movie rocked. T.Wayne was a boss, and flash was the man. They actually made aquaman as far from lame as possible. Damn can't wait for it to come out officially, so I can talk about it without spoiling.

I loved this film. Was cool seeing Aqualad too...you could nearly consider it the ending to Young Justice if you were that way inclined..

DC does own Marvel as far as animation goes. Marvel really needs to step their game up, especially since they can use all of their characters in animation.

All you're doing is promoting theft and hurting any chances of future DC animated movies.

It would make sense for this to be a time to bring their animated movies and comic runs together.
I imagine they will take major crossover events like Night of Owls, or segments of runs like the opening arc of Justice League, and use them for animated plots.

I do hope they still are open to creating some pre-flashpoint stories, though. I'd love to see Long Halloween/Dark Victory and Blackest Night (Geoff Jones era Green Lantern) in animated form.

This movie was INSANE!!
I don't think Disney would even let Marvel make a movie like this.

Carry on with Avengers Assemble, Agents of Smash, and Ultimate Spider-man, all shit-tastic.

Oh, and there's a post-credit scene at the end of JL: TFP!

Battabing@ What you said about War leading into the new Bruce Timm JL series... is that on the level? Because that would be so cool.
The one thing that I thought was a missed opportunity for this film was not giving us the fan-service of showing multiple timelines that show multiple versions of previous adaptations. Like we had in Turtles Forever. But if this is leading into the new JL series, then it is a kind of official reboot for the DCAU. Especialy since there were voice actors from the DCAU littered throughout. We had Kevin Conroy as Batman, Dana Delany as Lois Lane. We even had reprisals from previous DC Universe DVDs. There was Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman (from Crisis on Two Earths) and Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan, of course. There was even Ron Perlman as Deathstroke (as he was in the Teen Titans cartoon). And Aqualad from Young Justice was in there too?
Could this be the beginning of the DCAnU?
